A: We’re happy to confirm that this toaster oven is chemical-free with no PFAS, including no Teflon, PFOA, or PTFE. The interior of the toaster oven is stainless steel and is not coated. The crumb tray is made of stainless steel. The rack is also constructed from stainless steel. Because the interior and accessories are stainless steel and uncoated, the unit does not contain nonstick chemical coatings.

Q: Everyone keeps saying there's no timer function but if you're toasting something and put the bottom dial on "light" does it tick down at all? How does it stop from toasting past "light"?

So far working very good.
We purchased this toaster oven and are hoping it lasts a long time. It comes with a good warranty so that helped in deciding which oven to purchase. Still getting used to the oven, however, it is a big help in not having to use our large oven to bake for only two people! Dials are a little small and harder to read however, we are getting used to that.

Replacement of old Classic Toaster Oven Broiler
We bought this Classic Toaster Oven Broiler as a replacement for our old mechanical toaster oven and our experience is mixed. It's an excellent toaster for bread and especially bagels, but the lack of a timer for the broiler/baking function is especially frustrating. Our old one could be set to broiler/bake and the toaster timer would shut it off. Not so with the new one.

Got this with reward points from NFCU and glad I did. It replaced a popup toaster and this is so much better. It toasts good and bakes too. Nice not to heat up the oven when have smaller things to bake. I recommend it.

I'm so happy to find a reasonably priced, easy to use toaster oven. It replaced another which had digital controls. That was by choice, but the controls sure didn't work as I had hoped. The oven ruled how I cooked, which isn't how it's supposed to be. This new Cuisinart model does everything I need, with controls that are plain and simple, and I get good results. Yay, for simplicity!

Excellent toaster oven
We had a much older toaster oven of this model and it was finally wearing out after over 8 years. The newer version is even better and makes excellent toast and bagels. The bagel feature is especially nice. We use this almost daily to reheat foods, toast bread, etc. Love it!

Pretty good, temperamental for toast
Overall this a good toaster oven. I like and trust the Cuisinart brand. For toast so far we are getting hardly toasted at all when setting the darkness to light but adjusting it to the middle level gives us burnt toast. I'm afraid to see what dark setting would do, possibly charcoal.

Needs some refinements
This toaster oven works reasonably well; however, it needs some design, user friendly refinement. The toast function has an unusual and unessesary 5 bell chime when toasting is complete. Typically, toast is made in the morning and if you’re the first one up and making toast, you have to wake up the rest of the house while making toast at 6:00AM as the oven can mimic a morning alarm. A standard toaster just pops without 5 chimes to let me know the toast is done, it just shuts off. Speaking of which, the oven settings have no auto off function so, on the other end of the spectrum, there is no timer or safety function to prevent me from forgetting that something is in the oven and leaving it there too long and using the oven function disengages the on/off button. This is where a timer and chime could be helpful in preventing kitchen mishaps; the oven will just stay on until(with no help from 5 chimes) I remember to take the food out. I understand that that’s how a standard oven works but with a toaster oven it’s more about convenience, and every other brand has at least a safety timer, and again, every other standard toaster, doesn’t need to tell me my toast is done but doesn’t care if I leave the oven section on for hours!

Great deal
This is a rare breed in that it’s only a toaster/oven, no air fryer. It workers perfectly as advertised. Not only does it look great it works great. Everything comes out perfect and it heats up very quickly. All in all well worth the money.
