Cuisinart Compact 2 lbs Bread Maker - Stainless Steel

Love this machine. So far I have made two loafs and they have been great. Highly recommend it.

Compact, quiet, and relatively intuitive to use as long as you don't need to customize too much. The only issue I've had is that the crust color preference option is reversed from what's in the instructional guide since the paper it's printed on is light-colored and the panel on the machine is dark colored.

Unless you enjoy buying products that are deliberately not serviceable, look elsewhere. I set out this morning to do some deeper cleaning on this unit by unscrewing the very, very obvious (and seemingly user-serviceable!) Phillips screws holding the heating element to the interior of the "oven." Little did I know that this would result in the insulator/insert dropping into the cavity of the unit. That light with three screws? Good luck when the glass drops through to the cavity of the unit when you unscrew it. "OK, annoying - no problem! Let me just open this thing up and get these reattached," you might say. Well, this thing is designed to be as hostile as possible to repair. 99% of people attempting to disassemble this unit will break it. It is essentially a disposable bread machine. Once anything needs to be replaced, it's essentially garbage. Plastic tabs holding the metal housing to the plastic bottom? Good luck - they're brittle and reversed, designed to be one-way. There's pretty much no way to access the interior of this unit without breaking something. I've given up and am going to do what I should've in the first place - buy a bread machine someone used once or twice and then donated to a resale shop. This thing is utter junk and the reason I will avoid any and all Cuisinart products going forward. Y'all should be ashamed for making these deliberately difficult to fix.

Box was delivered opened and product was used. Not sure how target allowed this to be resent especially during Christmas. Very disappointing.

This is an excellent mid-size, versatile bread machine. Easy to clean. The only requirement is to follow the instructions and the time needed to complete. You won't regret your choice or your time. Good Baking

This machine is nice and compact. The last few loaves I've made have had a ring of unmixed ingredients around it though. Not sure what is causing it

We have loved this machine for the wonderful bread it makes (once we got the temp right for the wet ingredients.) We make fresh bread twice weekly and now the bottom literally fell out of the pan. The whole machine is useless without the pan and paddle being intact. It's a costly machine that should not have broken so quickly. We take very good care of our items. I am meticulous. First sign was difficulty getting the pan out of the oven. Then, when I went to shake the bread out, I noticed a great deal of bread under the bread pan. The liquid had been leaking. As soon as I wet the bread and pulled it off the outside bottom of the pan, the entire pin came out. No more paddle, no more seal, no more kneading. We still have a bread maker that I've literally had for over 20 years. Works fine. It actually heats the liquid to the correct temp, removing one step from the process. I simply liked the Cuisinart better (once the learning curve was over) and it was prettier on the counter. So disappointed.

Perfect for my lifestyle. Bread when I want it and not all the preservatives. Still trying to figure out how to turn off the audible notifications. Still trying new recipes. There is a learning curve, but worth it.

I've had this for around two months I think and it worked amazingly at first but now all of a sudden my dough isn't rising. I haven't done anything differently and am using the same ingredients and same settings so it has to be something without the machine.

So compact could find a place to store away, instructions, to recipes well thought out

This is a cute, compact, and versatile bread maker. It’s very easy to use and keep clean, and we really appreciated the little recipe book that came with it. We’ve already made a few recipes and it’s been a fun and delicious way to make homemade bread.

For years I thought about getting a bread machine, but thought it would be complicated, take too long to bake, and would take up too much counter space. After watching a few videos and just a little research, I decided on the Cuisinart as it had the best reviews. The included recipe book makes creating the best tasting loaves easy and fun. Within just a few hours, a fresh loaf is ready! The programming is simple and easy to follow. The machine is super easy to clean and it takes up less space than my Cuisinart Griddler! The best part, my 12 year old has become a bread making master! I love this and there is no better way to eat bread, but homemade!

I’m currently waiting for 1 loaf to finish so I can start another! I am LOVING my cuisinart bread maker! I’m making a few loaves for Christmas gifts and trying out different recipes. Definitely money well spent on this machine and I am very excited!

I am very pleased with this bread maker. The display is easy to read and the settings are easy to set. The bread or dough comes out delicious, and there is nothing better than the smell of fresh bread. I highly recommend this product!!

Very easy to use. Much more compact than the bread machine it replaced. I used it to mix dough to make cinnamon rolls and it came out perfectly.

So happy with this purchase! It is easy to program, fairly quiet and comes with a recipe book. Not necessary to buy special ingredients as it can used all purpose flour and regular active yeast. My husband loves the fresh bread. As this is my first bread maker, I’m happy with the quality for the price. I use it every week.
