Cuisinart Classic Kitchen Can Opener

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a quality can opener, there are less expensive options but I believe this one will outlast cheaper competitors. The handles have a slight silicone grip feel and that adds to the sturdier feeling in your hand. Handle turns easily and blade made for smooth easy top removal. I expect this to be in my kitchen for multiple years.

The things I like about this can opener: I like that it easily goes on side of a can, the handle grip feel comfortable, and it was very easy to turn the knob to open the can. The things I don’t like: the can opener did not cut the can lid all the way through, it leaves a very jagged edge, but most cans openers do, and when the can opener went completely around, the lid fell into the can on top of my food, and I had to fish it out with a fork. To me, this is very annoying, however, my previous can opener opened on the outside so I am spoiled! I was easily able to just take off the lid without needing to use a fork. This can opener will work in a pinch, but it is not ideal.

I’ve been using an older one with barely any grip on the handle that often gets hung up while opening cans. This can opener has plenty of grip and glides easily along the top of cans. It is easy to turn and I love how it is also dishwasher safe. Bonus points for the built in bottle opener as well!

I have an electric can opener, but when I’m just opening one can I want something easy to grab out of a drawer. This opener looks and feels like it will last a long time. It’s also super easy to puncture the can and squeeze the handles together - you don’t need a ton of grip strength. It also looks nice and stores easily because it’s not too bulky. I love the Cuisinart brand!

It is a decent brand and there’s not much that I could really complain about the one issue is that you actually have to squeeze pretty hard to get the can opened. But other than that, it operates exactly as you would expect . I would recommend this item at the price point..
