A: Under Details, Highlights, the last bullet point says it’s oven and broiler safe as well as freezer safe. I am not sure if that refers to the lid also.

Q: It says 12-inch but is that the widest part (top rim) of the pan or the base? I am looking for a pan for my 11.5 inch burner, so pan base would need to be that diameter.

A: you can use this on a grill... but, when I did used it on a grill, there were smoke stains that you have to washout.

Everything sticks to this pan and I have to scrub it every single time I use it for 15 minutes. All directions are followed, and it still doesn’t help. Worst pain I’ve ever owned.

Replaced all my other pans
I was a bit iffy going back to stainless steel after switching to non-stick a few years ago. Using this pan has been amazing so far! It’s a great size but still pretty lightweight, and I’ve gotten some great sears on the proteins I cook in it that I wasn’t getting in non-stick without overcooking the food. I’ve also changed my tune on putting pans in the dishwasher, so that fact that this pan is dishwasher safe makes it even better.

Edge/Rim is Sharp, be careful when using
Loved this pan for frying. BUT, the edge going around all the way of the rim is so so so sharp. I actually cut myself when washing it. Like sliced my finger good it was gushing blood. There's no reason the rim should be that sharp. I thought from a prominent brand this would be a good pan, but that is a huge flaw. Buyer beware.

Nice pan for the money
My husband and I decided to try stainless steel again because we’re tired of replacing expensive pans every few years when the nonstick coating inevitably fails. We had tried stainless steel years ago and hated them because we didn’t know how to keep them from burning and sticking. We looked up how to properly use them this time around and happy to say we’ve had no issues with sticking or burning. We’ve used it 2 or 3 times now and we’re very happy with it. We also love how light this pan is because washing heavy pans is annoying. You also can’t beat the price. It cooks just as well as our way more expensive nonstick pans from another brand. We liked it so much, we went ahead and bought a larger size. I will say that it already has some blueish rainbow discoloration, but I’ve read that’s normal and can be washed off with vinegar. Overall very happy with this pan though.
