Not safe for fingers
Too dangerous for fingers. Even being careful everyone has grated their fingers on this thing by accident. Chucked the product in the trash. Not safe.

Sturdy and Durable
This box grater is sturdy while using it, it gets the job done quickly, and so far it’s stood up to multiple uses and cleanings in the dishwasher with no issues. As usual the quality is there with Cuisinart.

This has to be the cadillac of cheese graters. Seriously. I don’t usually get excited about a kitchen gadget. My favorite feature is the storage box that attaches to the bottom that keeps the mess off the counter. Has a lid for the cheese afterwards to store. Very sturdy and doesn’t slip around. Will slice other veggies, which I haven’t tried and probably try, but may try the potato slicing feature. ..
