In a dystopian present, in an absurd and unusual time governed by repulsive multicolored beings, a strange illness--manifesting as abscesses with human faces that appear anywhere on the body--spreads among the relatives of the disappeared. Within this terrifying context, a family searches for their daughter: Mamá, a symbol of resilience and determination, joins a collective of women digging up bodies in the desert; Papá, trapped in his own spiral of anguish, embarks on dangerous night walks; and Hermano, for his part, accidentally initiates a student movement aiming to bring visibility to the victims. Everything is narrated from the perspective of Hija, who observes them from a no-place eerily close to her nightmares.
