Crest Plus Cavity Protection Toothpaste - 8.2oz: Contains Fluoride, Gluten-Free, Mint Flavor

I am confused. When I click to write the review the product is call Crest Pro Health Max Cavity Protection. The box and tube does not use the word Max. The other issue is the lack of tamper proof packaging for this particular toothpaste. The packaging in the store is a cardboard box with no glued tabs. The tubes of toothpaste do not have the foil seal like the samples the dentist office provides. The single tube box has glued tabs. Other flavors come shrink wrapped in plastic. Why is this three pack not tamper proof?

I agree with other reviewers, please bring back the original. I have a horrible toothpaste allergy and this was the only toothpaste I could use. You've changed the formula and now my mouth cracks and bleeds when I use it. I've been desperately trying to find a replacement and have spent over $100 on other brands trying to find one. My mouth is in so much pain, now I dread brushing my teeth. Why do brands do this? There's a million different variations, is it that terrible to have a basic paste without all of the "extra artic blast mint plus pro" nonsense?

I used my last tube, I have not been able to find it at the store, actually four different stores.. Have they discontinued this exact toothpaste? I do not like the gel or the green mint or the one with scope or a whitener. Please let me know where I can purchase this in Minneapolis Minnesota. Thank you for your time.

I too get extremely tired of the products I use changing. As one reviewer says, from emailing the company she found that crest cavity protection plus is the same as the crest cavity protection. But I had to come to this site to find out and this is not the first place I looked for the answer. Please just leave well enough alone and stop wasting our time.

I used to use Pro-Health Whitening, tasted great, but according to some responses by Crest on this website they added an "Amino Acid Technology" to make the stannous fluoride or something more effective and the flavor is now disgusting. Because of this I switched to Crest Cavity Protection Regular Paste, same thing I grew up with and tasted great, now I can't find it in stores but there is a Crest Cavity Protection Paste Plus and now it tastes like crap. Was the amino acid that was added to the Pro-Health Whitening added to the Cavity Protection Paste?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love Crest products in our house. I use the whitening toothpaste and strips and boy do they make a difference. This toothpaste is perfect for in between brushing with the whitening toothpaste.

This is the only toothpaste that doesn't burn my mouth. The other "upgraded" ones have chemicals that don't agree with me along with many other people.

I was using the basic Crest toothpaste which I can't find anymore. Bought Crest Plus cavity protection. It is not the same . It burns my mouth. Feels like it is too strong. Was the formula changed?

The only reason I'm giving this three stars is because of shrinkflation now they are selling the 8.2 oz toothpaste in a 5.7 oz package for the same price. I could tell right away when I opened the box that the tube was smaller. Go figure. I don't know when this nonsense is going to stop.

All great but was it discontinued? If so then it's a terrible mistake on the company side as I cannot find it anymore online, there's only the "plus" variant which I'm not sure is the same so I'm not buying it!

For some reason, P&G no longer lists the "inactive ingredients" on the tube of toothpaste. Upon going to the P&G website, one finds that it is very hard to locate the full list of ingredients (requires properly clicking through many layered webpages). Once found, the list unclear on at least one important point. Instead of listing the ingredients used to provide flavor, P&G just lists "flavor". Flavor is not an "ingredient" it is a vague category. What chemical(s) are you using for "flavor" ..... one can only wonder.

That is why I waited so long to review this, I wanted to make sure that it really did a good job of keeping my teeth clean before I left a review. The packaging was standard and good, nothing to write home about but nothing to complain about either

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found the flavor of this toothpaste to not be overwhelming or to sweet which I liked. Also they seal the package very good so I do t see spills happening very easily. All in all same great brand, always great effectiveness, and not bad tasting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Usually I’m a Sensodyne or Colgate girly, so this was my first time in a long time trying Crest thanks to Influenster. Texture is basically like most other toothpastes, but it lathered really well while brushing my teeth. Not tooo minty which was new for me. My teeth felt clean literally the entire day, from 6AM when brushed to 10PM at night when they’re once again brushed.

I love how clean my teeth feel after brushing. The product itself does not feel too thick which is a plus for me. I looked up the price where I would normally purchase my oral health things and the price is fair. I would definitely recommend.

The flavor is minimal and you don’t need much on your brush. It foams up rather significantly. I expect the tube to last longer for this reason. The packaging is easy to use, light weight and says recyclable. All good things. My teeth & mouth feel clean and refreshed after use.
