Q: Once the gel is gone for that color than the “gel pen” is also? It works only with the gel it comes with? If so can you get refills?

A: That's a great question! The Color Wonder Magic Light Brush & Drawing Pad currently does not have refill options available for paints, however; you may use the special paper and Color Wonder Markers to create with once the paints have been used. Hope this helps!

Requires lots of extra paper that must be bought separately after the 18 sheets needed. After using Each color you have to make sure you wipe the brush, this is impossible for kids to keep clean. Save your money and don’t buy

Not very magical
This was very disappointing in my opinion and not worth the price. Not at all impressed with the colors. The only interesting part about this set is the "magic" and the light up brush. My kids got bored quick and would make better art with regular markers. Also its only 18 sheets of magic paper and you can't color in the back, so im assuming we'll have to purchase more paper once we run out. I do not recommend and kids weren't impressed.

Can’t paint a single line.
As others have commented, it doesn’t paint a complete line despite new batteries and cleaning the brush it doesn’t hold my toddlers attention and looks like scratches.

One quick tip: try gently pressing the brush against the ink pad for a second or two to help it pick up more ink. Since the brush transfers (but doesn’t absorb) ink, a quick tap might not be enough, especially if the pad is running low. Some artists also find that a softer, more absorbent brush helps use up any remaining ink. If that doesn’t do the trick, feel free to reach out to us at 1-800-CRAYOLA. Happy painting!

It was great for the first day my daughter used it. After however it was like chicken scratch, there was barely any colour popping up.

Doesn’t last long
It looked nice after a few uses but idk what this product is made out of feels like a oil I’m not sure but it dried out the stroke are non existent. I’m having a hard time adding a photo but the strokes you can’t even see the color
