Filters Smell Like Burnt Plastic For Weeks
At this point Coway is damaging their reputation. It is becoming common knowledge online that the filters used in your machines off-gas a horrible toxic smell that takes weeks to go away. It is counterproductive to what we are all trying to achieve by cleaning the air in our homes. This wasn’t always the case but for the last couple of years these replacement filters have been a major issue. I was hoping it was just one bad production run of filters but unfortunately this doesn’t seem to be the case. If I can save anyone the mistake of ordering a Coway then this honest review will be worth it. It’s unfortunate because I have several Coway air purifiers in the house, but I can not expose my family to these toxic fumes anymore. Coway has had more than enough time to correct their filter manufacturing error, but I’m sure that would hurt their bottom line $. So they chose to hurt their customers health instead.

Yearly Filter Change
It's amazing how a simple filter change can transform the air in my entire home. A friend who regularly visits, stopped in about a week after the filter change and instantly commented on how fresh my home smelled. He''s a person living with asthma and truly appreciates clean air. That's why I never miss the yearly filter change. It seems expensive, but for a year of fresh, healthy air, that even my guests can appreciate, it a very small price to pay.

It Works
I have allergies and the Airmega filters help keep the air inside my house free of pollen, dust, and any other allergens lurking in the air. I have a small house and it works for the entirety.

Smells like chemicals
Smelled like chemicals when I turned it on and I’ve been letting it run with all the windows open for days and it still reeks. The point of the filter is to keep my home healthy but it feels like it’s doing the opposite. I emailed them and they only suggested I leave it running for longer. I wish I didn’t buy two.

Return process is a headache
Accidentally ordered the wrong filter. The return process is quite a headache. Make sure you double check which filters you're ordering. They all look the same, but not all go with every model.

Super Impressive Filters
Acquired a 400s from a small business that was shutting down and clearing house. It needed new filters, which came very quickly upon ordering. I am amazed at how quickly the air space in my apartment air became clean. I am grateful to have this device, especially now with the fires in Los Angeles. Our indoor air quality has been prestine, despite all the smoke, duct & Ash floating about outside

Good filters
Though these are expensive filters, they do the job of filtering the air, very well. I have 2 cats, so it helps tremendously with cat litter odors, and dander in the air. I change these filters every 6 months.

Always Reliable!

Wildland fire air purifier
I live in the Pacific Northwest and fire is a way of life. I purchased the 400 solely for this reason and it has been a lifesaver. We have had several hazardous air weeks and the 400 worked flawlessly. An absolute necessity, well worth every penny

Thick HEPA filter = more filtration power
Well made thick green HEPA filter with charcoal layer to reduce odors. Fits snugly into Airmega 400. Easy to install and remove with the loop handle.
