This permanent hair color kit makes permanent highlights quick and easy, and this blonde hair color dye and highlight kit is suitable for medium brown to light blonde hair color shades. After thoroughly mixing the Lightening Powder and Developing Cream, apply the mixture to your hair as directed. After rinsing and shampooing your hair, apply Clairol CC+ ColorSeal color conditioner as directed. That’s it! Use Clairol Frost & Tip for superior custom blonde highlights.

Q: can you use this product with foil instead of pulling through the cap

A: Great question Chas! Yes, you can use the product with Foils. Just keep in mind if you are new to using foils, you will need to open a foil to check the processing since you can’t see it developing like you can when it is sitting on a cap. If you wipe off the product to check, reapply some of your left over mixture to ensure it will continue to develop.

Great alternative and more cost-effective than a salon
Ummm yes!!! as a busy mom of four Littles I don’t have the time to go sit in a salon for five hours to get highlights. We bought this in hopes that it would be a great more cost-effective alternative and I am so lucky we were right! It was extremely easy to use and gave me salon quality results! I have a lot of hair and my hair is extremely long so it did take a little while and I let it process a little longer than recommended but I absolutely love this and will continue purchasing in the future

Changed it- no gloves included any longer
Have been using this kit for probably 50 years. They took away the plastic gloves that have always come with the kit. You need the gloves. You will have to purchase gloves yourself now. Wish they’d have left the gloves in the kit. It’s no longer complete.

Pretty Colors
This was a very pretty color. Many to choose from. It did not hide any grey hair but it did leave a nice blonde and not orange. Leaves hair soft.

Not like it used to be.....
They have pretty much ruined the Frosting kit, used to lift and work. They no longer offer the one for really dark hair , as if everybody is already blonde. Just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse. You will probably need to redo so don’t bother.
