A: It isn’t impossible to produce products without a prop 65 warning. OurPlace WonderOven pro doesn’t have a prop 65 warning.

A: Our products may contain plastics and/or other materials which have chemical compounds, many of which are found in nature or are the byproduct of the manufacturing process itself. California Proposition 65 law requires manufacturers to notify their customers if a product contains any of the now 1,000 plus listed chemicals that may cause cancer or reproductive harm (in the opinion of the State of California). Since the majority of manufacturing materials are made from various chemical compounds, it is impossible for manufacturers to produce products without at least one of the 1,000 plus listed chemicals being present in products. Chefman takes product safety and compliance to the law very seriously. As such, all Chefman products meet or exceed National and International standards for electrical and chemical safety. We are a socially responsible company and have therefore chosen to notify our customers in accordance with the California specific requirements.

A: The non-stick coating is made of PTFE (PFOA free), not ceramic.

A: The unit does not contain the chemicals mentioned. The unit does have a ceramic non-stick coating on the bake/broil tray for ease of cleaning and the accessories are made of stainless steel.

A: However the non-stick coating is made of PTFE.

A: All of our appliances are approved as safe for use by the FDA.

A: The unit comes with one wire rack and one flat bake tray. Both can be used at the same time.

A: How well the food cooks and crisps is partially dependent on the unit's ability to circulate air. It is advised not to pack the food too tightly.

A: This model does not contain teflon. The removable drip tray does have a ceramic non-stick coating for easy clean-up.
