Actual run time will vary a bit based on which light and sound settings you’re using, but it’s designed to stay on for extended stretches so you can use it through naps or bedtime without needing to keep it plugged in.

Only the L-shaped end of the cable will connect to the device, the straight end connects to your power bank. We’d also like to narrow down whether the issue is with the cable or the device itself. If you have another USB-C cable at home, please try connecting the body of the Sleep Soother with that cable and let us know whether it works. If the Sleep Soother powers on with a different cable, we can send you a replacement cable at no additional cost. Please contact the Canopy team at support@getcanopy.co with a short video of the issue, a brief description of what’s happening, and proof of purchase. We want to get this taken care of ASAP, may be able to help with a replacement.

If you’re looking at the small charging indicator light on the bottom of the unit, that light will only blink when the soother is plugged in and charging. The unit doesn’t arrive fully charged out of the box, so you’ll want to leave it plugged in for a bit before using it unplugged. Once the soother has some charge, press the power button to turn the sounds on. When the unit is on, you should see all of the buttons on the control panel light up with a soft backlight, that’s your main “power on” indicator rather than the small charging light. If you’ve given it time to charge, have it plugged into a working outlet, and still aren’t seeing the button backlights when you press power, please reach out to our customer experience team with a quick photo or short video of what you’re seeing along with proof of purchase, so we can take a closer look and help with next steps

A: The Canopy 3-in-1 Sleep Soother doesn’t include a dedicated “brown noise” setting, but you can set the mood for rest with 12 calming sound options: White Noise (High, Medium, Low), Babbling Brook, Ocean Waves, Rain, Nature Sounds, Heartbeat, Shush, Lullaby, Happy Tunes, and Spatial Ambience. The playful “Happy Tunes” option can help soothe little ones while they wind down.
