Brazos walking sticks and canes are handcrafted, one at a time, by local artisans. Brazos, a Briggs Healthcare Company, is a family operated business located in the beautiful Brazos River Valley area of central Texas. We’ve been producing the highest quality handcrafted sticks and canes for more than 15 years. Our products are made by skilled craftsmen in small, “cottage industry” workshops located within a few miles of our facilities. Brazos walking canes offer natural appeal because they are made from real wood. You can see the fine detail and beauty of the actual tree. Each cane is a work of art. it is common for the canes and sticks to have cracks, especially on the ends. These naturally formed cracks do not inhibit the stability of the staffs in anyway but help define the character.

good stick

great solid stick, will do the job, great service, prompt, interested and polite. wanted a stick more like the photo, stick that arrived not like it much at all. I understand the difficulties with such a product. however, not even near the same colour or straightness. Having said that, I like the stick and will use it :-)A

Impressive looking

Good example of the free form look. It's a straight as it needs to be for a good walking cane, while having enough deviations for that homemade rustic look. My first impression was that it's heavier than it actually turned out to be. Brazos trimmed it a couple of inches to be the right length for me, and it only weighs 13 â…ù oz., but it's so thick and solid looking that you get the impression it must be more. With that solid looking shaft and the impressive thick knob on the end, this might look a bit too much like a weapon for some situations where people are paranoid about such things; luckily I've got some other canes as well.

Walk Softly and Carry...

Had been looking for a walking stick for a while as we moved to an area with coyotes and wanted something for protection if needed. This stick is great, has a large knob handle and I ordered an inlaid Star which adds a nice touch. I kind of wish the stick was a little straighter (it kind of bends up towards the handle) but I understand it's a natural product so they come like that. Very good service and shipping. thank you!

Noble and distinctive, like an Irish club

The root knob is very noble and distinctive, similar to an Irish Shillelagh (club). It is lightweight yet solid and strong. Well made, this 40 inch stick is perfect for me at 5'10''. The smooth knob is fine and my grip upon it is firm. If necessary, I can swing the knob-end at any man-eating squirrel or wild Sasquatch. Simply put, I like it.

Very attractive and sturdy

This was a very nice cane to add to my collection. It's very sturdy as well as attractive so I've made it my go to cane for use around the ranch unless I'm using my Gardner's Stick.

SOOO Comforable!!!!
