Braun MultiMix Handmixer - White - HM5100WH

Super noisy and not as powerful as advertised. It also made a weird noise when stirring heavy batters. As chef who had a cooking show in the 80s, I don't recommend it. I'm very interested to see how it performs over a long period of time, and whether it will hold up as promised.

This Braun mixer is the only product on the market with real power. Recently, when we went to order a new hand mixer, we ordered two different "Top" brands. They were both dismally underpowered, with ridiculous features like lights, and nothing like their old models.

Cannot cream butter with a whisk. No beater attachments.

I purchased this because I thought it would have a lot of power. It does, but the beaters suck! A cheesecake mixture flung everywhere, but it took forever to whip an egg into a meringue or make cold foam! They work ok for a medium thick mixture. This is so unsatisfactory for the $$. Returning this!

I like this mixer and love the features, especially the chopper accessory. I will say the only thing I don’t like about this mixer is you have to hold the on/off button in the on position while mixing, if you let go it stops. It’s inconvenient while mixing things that take some time, when you could let go and not hold into it. That so far is my only complaint.

Very nice mixer which feels very smooth while it's running, and worked well enough to handle thick cookie dough pretty efficiently. The speed dial is quite nice and it's easy to eject the attachments. It's relatively quiet, though the high pitch of the sound bothers my kids.

Very easy to use and lightweight. I love the beaters & kneading hooks. I love the ability to gradually increase and decrease speed.

My Braun hand mixer is a gem - great for cookie batter!

Replaced a 1990 vintage Kitchen Aid hand mixer with the Braun HM 5100WH. The Braun has plenty of power and features the Kitchen Aid lacked: dough hooks, variable speed dial, accessory storage sack. The Kitchen Aid was more balanced, and more stable when set down.

My kitchen is tiny so I don't have much space and this solves that! It has really nice power for the size and gets through all of my thicker recipes which is really great.

I hate having to get my stand mixer out because it’s heavy and they need help. This hand mixer though, is light weight and easy for them to use and equally easy for them to clean themselves!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This hand mixer nails the basics and also has a couple of unique features. The basics: It is easy to assemble, it mixes well, and it is good-looking. At some level, that's all you need out of a hand mixer. One note: the switch for releasing the mixing beaters is in the same place as the start trigger for my old hand mixer. So the first time I tried mixing, I sprayed the beaters all over the floor. No harm, no fol, and a quick wash later they were back in business. The unique The coolest feature it has is that, instead of button that changes to pre-set speeds, it has a dial. This means you can speed up more easily than by pressing a button over and over, and it also gives you more pinpoint control over the speed than the pre-sets. Sort of like a light which has a dimmer, instead of a switch that has only four brightness settings. The other unique feature, at least to me, are the whisk attachment you can use instead of beaters. I have never whisked with a hand mixer before, but I am looking forward to see how it does. All in all, a good kitchen tool, with some unique features that are pretty appealing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The multimix 5 hand mixer is so convenient to have. I use it for most things I do in my kitchen when I'm doing alot of baking. It's easy to store, and easy clean up. Lightweight and I like that it's has different speeds.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Braun multi mix 5 is a great hand mixer. It has 10 speeds, and even when you have it on the highest setting, it is very quiet. It comes with 2 beaters and 2 dough hooks, you can also get a chopper attachment that we plan on getting very soon. The on/off switch is nice because when you let it go, it stops. You don’t have to worry about any accidents if you are unable to flip the switch for whatever reason.

It has a really cool dial to adjust the speed. It also has a nice safety feature that if the attachments aren’t in securely it won’t start. It is quiet and well balanced. I am very happy with this overall. It is a massive upgrade to our older model. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a new mixer.

The dough attachment is so great and I am able to use this for all of my baking projects. Very easy to clean and the speeds and power of this mixer are just fabulous.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This hand mixer has more power than it looks for sure. I have used it for cake batter, mashed potatoes, and yeast dough for cinnamon rolls. It's easy to hold and change speed, the beaters come off with just a push of the eject button. It gives my stand mixer a run for It's money!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very good mixer. It has various speed options plus a turbo speed for you to choose from. I really like that the beaters and dough hooks have different shapes; a hexagon and a circle so you will always know which goes on the left or ride side. I like that the weight of the mixer is in the front which helps keep it more in the bowl instead of you having to carry the weight while mixing. It’s not real loud which is a great. The handle has a soft grip that is comfortable in your hand. It’s cleans up easily and comes with a pouch to keep the beaters and hooks in. I am very impressed with this mixer it works very well.
