Q: Can I pair this with my Google home to listen to music at a higher volume?
A: Yes, you can pair the Bose SoundLink Flex Portable Bluetooth Speaker (2nd Gen) with your Google Home device via Bluetooth to enjoy music at a higher volume. Once connected, any audio played through Google Home, such as Spotify or YouTube Music, will stream directly to the Bose speaker, giving you louder and richer sound quality. You can control the volume either on the speaker itself or through Google Assistant voice commands. However, since the SoundLink Flex is not a Wi‑Fi smart speaker, it won’t integrate with Google Home in the same way as Chromecast‑enabled or Nest speakers, meaning you won’t be able to group it with other Google Home speakers for multi‑room audio. It will function as a standalone Bluetooth speaker connected to your Google Home.
