Try it savory!
This cereal has a basic grainy base flavor and the texture has a nice mild chew due to the variety of grains. I use this in breakfast bowls, to which I add sautéed mushrooms and greens, seasoning, cheese, and an over easy egg. My trick is to add seasonings and sriracha to the bowl before microwaving, and then top with the add-ins and mix it up. I'm sure the sweetened versions are fine, but I believe the flavor and texture are totally supportive of savory additions. Seriously underrated way to get a pretty healthy breakfast that is easy to switch up if you get bored.

Happy Hubby
My husband has a sensitivity to wheat. So when I bake bread, I'm very careful what goes into each recipe. We were using Bob's Red Mill 10 Grain Cereal, but realized that the wheat in it was causing him to itch on his chest (that is the place he breaks out). Then we found the 8 Grain Hot Cereal from Bob's Red Mill and found that it does not contain wheat. We have switched to that now and he is a very happy man. He loves his toast for breakfast and the 8 Grain Cereal in the bread is perfect. I even have added chopped Walnuts too and that really makes a great tasting bread. I love the 8 grain cereal! It's both tasty and hearty and has a satisfying texture. I usually add some raisins and almond milk. This gets me to lunch and keeps me full and satisfied.

8 Grain is my favorite.
8 grain is my favorite of the mutligrain options. I confess I make it mixed with rolled oats. I also add brown sugar and milk. Very delicious. I like the nutty texture of the 8 grain, which balances out the mushiness of oatmeal. I just wish I could still buy it in a store near me -- I had to order online this time.

Bob's 8 grain plus
Excellent flavor and good combo of grains. Just needs a little more bite, so I mix it with a whole-oat blend from another provider. I make mine with a 3:1 water: milk ratio and serve with diced avocado, chili oil, and a dab of goats butter, as I prefer savory over sweet.

Better than even their 10 Grain Gluten
Better than the 10 grain that has gluten. The grains are quality not filler. SOOOOO GOOD. And the price is great. Was going through a competetor and their packages smaller and more expensive and although tasty also not as good. I am thrilled with everything, the quick delivery price never a problem.

This is the best hot cereal I have ever had! It was out of stock for so long, I had worried it might not be back. I cook it with a blob of blueberry applesauce thrown into the pan with it and the water as sweetener and add more berries, nuts, a bit of granola and a splash of plant based creamer. Heaven!
