Cook time and water
Good cereal, but I think it requres more water than the instructions indicate, and the cooking time might be closer to 5 minutes rather than 8.

Works in a rice cooker
If you don't want to stand around whisking use a rice cooker!!! I used milk and it turned out even smoother than cooking it on the stove. I used the same measurements

I live Brown rice by Bobs Red Mill. Cannot find it here in Florida and my quirky stomach needs it as well as my taste buds. Best tasting rice cereal ever!!!!

A Nice Brown Rice Hot Cereal
We like Bob's Red Mill Brown Rice cereal because it has a nice texture, not the consistency of pablum like some other rice cereals, yet it is still creamy. Best with blueberries and some chopped nuts for extra protein. This is a healthy cereal with a mild flavor that even picky children won't make a fuss over.

great brekfast
This is one of our favorites. We love eating it and trying new combos with it. sometimes we enjoy plain with a little milk alternative. though I love to cook raisins and whole almonds in the boiling water. It adds a great flavor and helps add a little more protein and sweetness. My kids love this one too though not as much as cream of buckwheat. I grew up on whole grain cereals like this so I do not even know what white creamy rice tastes like.

Great w/ Eggs
I love this cereal with a couple of eggs on top. I used to put butter & sugar in it, but that was horrible. Then one day I thought, I eat grits with butter, salt, and eggs, so why not this. I loved it!

Tasty and easy to make
I enjoy this creamy brown rice cereal. A nice change from oatmeal for me. Just add a little brown sugar and sometimes a scoop of protein powder to it in my bowl after cereal is cooked and it really hits the spot.

Mmmmmm
The brown rice hot cereal is good, but I had to make some changes when cooking it. I doubled the amount of water, added a little more salt, and cooked it for 25 minutes, with the lid on the pot. When done, I put a pat of butter, maple syrup, a few ground walnuts, and some flax seed meal and banana on top of my bowl of cereal. It was delicious, nutritious and satisfying. Thank you very much! I am allergic to many grains, but I can eat brown rice.

Hot yummy goodness
This is the best breakfast cereal. Some days I eat it with diced fresh pears or I change it up and use maple syrup. It’s also yummy plain. A healthy satisfying way to start the day!

Had to replace my Rice and Shine with another hot rice cereal. This fills the bill.
