I use this food to entice my dogs to eat their hard food. I can use one can for four dogs over several days. It keeps well in the refrigerator if you just put a little air top cover on it. I purchased my plastic cap savers on Amazon. I trust blue Buffalo hard food and this product is no different. High quality and value too.

My dog loved this food! He gobbled it right up and then licked his bowl clean. The food had chucks of carrots and other veggies in it and looked like real food. The can had an easy open lid so you don't need a can opener. Overall this is a great choice for a wet dog food brand.

My dogs inhaled this can of dog food when I added it to their usual dry food dinner and licked their bowls clean. You can tell the flavor of this food was a big hit with my dogs based on how fast they ate it. I like that it was focused for more senior dogs with the easy to chew texture.

My Sophie really loved the Blue Buffalo Homestyle Beef Flavored Wet Dog Food Homestyle Recipe. She is 15yrs old and does not do well well dry plus she can be a bit picky. Opening the can the food has a soft pate texture I can see carrots and peas in it and the smell is savory. Has an easy to open pop top which I like. Being an older dog her Joint, brain and eye health are important. This formula has Glucosamine and Chondroitin for her joints and DHA for her cognitive and retinal functions. I am pleased that the first two ingredients are Beef and Chicken. Has no by product meal, no corn wheat or soy and no artificial preservatives or flavors.

This food is a yummy choice for older dogs who maybe need softer food due to aging teeth and gums. Dogs seem to like it and it seems like a high quality choice. I only gave it 4 stars because the flavor is beef and the second ingredient is chicken so maybe Beef with Chicken is more accurate.

Although my beagle thoroughly enjoyed the taste of this Blue Buffalo canned dog food, the product is extremely thick and somewhat difficult to remove from the can. The flip top can is convenient to use and opens easily. My beagle basically inhaled this product and really enjoyed the taste. After opening, I let him sniff the product and he immediately started wagging his tail and barking, letting me know that he was eager to eat it. I opted to give him half of the can to make sure that he digested it well (no issues with that at all). I did include a pic to show the consistency of the product. You can clearly see that this canned food is made with real ingredients. Most definitely a brand I would purchase again and would recommend.

I got the wrong kind for my 3 year old dog, so was nervous to have her try it. She loved it. I did mix it with her regular dry food. Definitely need to double check the can next time. It does have pieces of carrots and peas in it. She ate it all.

The Blue Buffalo Homestyle Recipe has a thick pâté consistency. Not what the dogs are use to but they seemed happy to gobble this down. There are some flecks of what looks like carrots and peas. The ingredients list is lengthy, but the first 5 ingredients are beef, chicken, beef broth, carrots and beef liver. Price is about the price we normally pay for wet food. My dogs get wet food mixed in once a day to help balance the moisture in their diet.

My older dog loves this canned dog food. I mix it in with her dry kibble. I like that you can see the vegetables in the food, the peas and sweet potatoes. I feel like I’m giving my dog a high-quality meal because the first two ingredients are beef and chicken. Can’t do better than that.

We have purchased Blue Buffalo in pouches, but there is something about this canned food that makes her come running. I do not know if it is the added veggies that she loves, but I am not going to ask. We want to feed her good, quality dog food so we check the labels. The first two ingredients listed are beef and chicken, not water or broth or any other fillers. The texture is just right too. It is very moist and even smells good. She can smell her dinner on the counter as soon as she walks in the room. Then she starts pawing where her dish is supposed to be. So impatient. Sometimes she can have a sensitive stomach, but she has not had any upset stomachs from the Blue Buffalo Homestyle Recipe Beef Flavor Wet Dog Food – 12.5oz. It may be a bit pricey, but I always say – you get what you pay for. We do not give this as her main food, but we add a scoop in with her kibble and she gobbles every last bite up. We trust the Blue Buffalo brand. Our pup is so in love with this dog food and we will continue buying it.

Our 10 year old mixed breed pup loves the Blue Buffalo Homestyle Recipe Beef Flavor Wet Dog Food. As soon as I opened the can he came running over to sniff. We split it into three days (small amount to supplement his dry food) and he was so excited on days 2 and 3 knowing what was coming. Love and trust the Blue Buffalo brand and this is no exception!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog, Chiquita, loved this wet food. It was not too runny or too stiff. The smell was good not so over powering. My dog instantly ate it up. She had no problem eating it. It was nice and soft. She did not get an upset stomach after or was lethargic after. She was perfectly fine and sat there wanting more. I'm so glad she enjoyed it. I'm glad it targets older dogs. This is definitely dog food I will be buying in the future for my senior dog.
