The Blue Buffalo Country Chicken Stew is one of my dog’s favorite meals! The chunks of real chicken and vegetables look fresh and appetizing, and the aroma is pleasant — not too strong. I like that it’s made with wholesome ingredients and no by-products or artificial additives. My dog always finishes the bowl and seems more excited at mealtime. It’s also been gentle on his stomach and easy to digest, which is a big plus. The portion size is perfect for mixing with dry food, and I’ve noticed his coat looking shinier and healthier since adding this to his diet.

My dog would not touch this

I just tried to give my dog both kinds of the gravy with the chunks in it and he wouldn’t touch either one and I even tried this spice it up a little bit and put some chicken in it and things that I knew that you liked like sweet potatoes and stuff like that, but he would not touch it and that tells me a lot

Good chunks of meat and veggies you can ID

I buy this as a treat to mix in with Belly's dry kibble. Right now she's on our vet's orders to eat wet food for 2 weeks, so we are doing chicken and beef hearty stew. I love that we can see the chunks of meat and veggies in the food. Knock on wood we haven't had a bad can, so we'vealways had plenty of meat and gravy with a good smell. Belly sure enjoys it and at 30lbs a can or two fills her up.

Used it for years, have doubts

This website says feeding instructions are 1 to 1 1/2 cans per 10 lbs of dog's body weight. The actual cans say 2/3 to 1 1/4 per 10 lbs of dog's body weight. Which is it? Have been feeding my dog this along with some senior dry kibble for a couple of years because I thought it was healthier food. She hasn't been able to lose weight and has a dry coat. Switching to Farmer's Dog to see if that is better for her. The canned food sometimes comes out easy with a lot of liquid and sometimes it is almost impossible to get it out of the can because it is so dry. Inconsistent food consistency. And now I have complete doubt in the feeding guide instructions because the website and cans give different feeding instruction amounts.

This is my dogs, favorite dog food he loves it. I find it a bit expensive and I don’t like the smell, but I suppose that is the truth with all dog food.

Damaged can

I didn't open this can because the side was caved in and I didn't trust the safety of feeding it to my 12 1/2 year old dog. It looked really good, and the next time I'll go into the store to pick a can without a large dent. I really like Blue Buffalo and rarely feed canned food, so this was supposed to be a special treat.

Horrible food. 0 rating if possible

All 4 of my dogs WILL NOT EAT THIS. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Absolutely disgusting. So tired of throwing away food and money. All 4 dogs walked away from their bowls. How is this explained?

Highly recommend this brand! My dogs both love this food. I have two dogs. My girl Luna is an extremely picky eater, but she will devour this food! Lol. It’s a little on the pricier side, but what else would you expect. You get what you pay for!

I have been purchasing this product for several years. This product never seems to be consistent. One case will be very liquid, like basically a soup. The next case could be a lot dryer, and then some cases will be much darker in color. These big changes do make me a little nervous.
