Description

Seal oil is a natural oil extracted from the fatty tissue of seals, primarily sourced from seals in the Arctic. Because seals are at the top of the marine food chain, their oil is rich in unique nutrients, particularly omega-3 fatty acids (including DHA and EPA) and several naturally occurring active ingredients. The omega-3s in seal oil are present in the form of triglycerides (compared to ethyl esters in fish oil), making them more easily absorbed by the body. Seal oil also contains the unique ingredient DPA (docosapentaenoic acid), which promotes omega-3 absorption.
