Amazing, Compelling Read!
An Unexpected Grace was the perfect conclusion to the Jewels of Kalispell series! The second-chance romance, the suspense, and the mystery were spectacular. Tracie Peterson and Kimberly Woodhouse write such well-paced, natural faith filled (but not too “preachy”) stories that both authors have become auto-buy authors for me. If you like a sweet romance with a little suspense and intrigue, this book is for you! Johanna and Parker were lovely characters. Having an actor instead of an actress was a new trope to me and I liked it! Johanna is such a sweet and touching character, and very relatable when she sticks to what God is calling her to do. The historical details were also extremely interesting especially since I’ve visited Kalispell. I’m sad there aren’t more books in this series, but I suppose all good series must come to an end at some point!😉 I received a copy from the publisher. All thoughts are my own!

Captivating Historical Romance!
Individually, they are awesome authors, but together, Tracie Peterson and Kimberly Woodhouse are a fantastic writing team! Their latest joint effort is a captivating historical fiction story that is an excellent finale to their series, The Jewels of Kalispell. An Unexpected Grace has a beautiful Montana setting, a second-chance romance, and an inspiring faith thread woven into the plot. There's also history, suspense, and a cast of well-developed characters. Johanna, Parker, and Johanna's little girl Emily are certainly appealing, but Marvella Ashbury was my absolute favorite! Who wouldn't love someone who believes in the power of love and isn't afraid to use all of the matchmaking skills she's developed over the years? This heartwarming story kept me delightfully engaged, and the epilogue featuring happy victims of Marvella's matchmaking schemes is perfect!! Fans of historical Christian romance, grab a copy of An Unexpected Grace. You won't be sorry! I received a copy of this book from Bethany House Publishers and NetGalley. There was no obligation for a positive review.

A Good Read
How fun to be back in Kalispell, Montana and especially to reunite with Marvella Ashbury match-maker extraordinaire! This time she has a young widow, Johanna St. John, and her childhood sweetheart, Parker Bennett, in her crosshairs. This does not sit well with her late husband's brother, as he has his own plans involving Johanna. I really enjoy books that are the fruit of Peterson's and Woodhouse's collaboration. The settings, main characters, and dialogue are always heartwarming. There is enough conflict to build and hold fast to the reader's interest and attention. The romance is sweet. There is always a sense of hope for the future by story's end. An Unexpected Grace is no exception. I am grateful to have received a complimentary copy from Bethany House via NetGalley without obligation. All opinions expressed here are my own.

A touching tale!
An Unexpected Grace by Tracie Peterson and Kimberley Woodhouse is an uplifting second chance romance. There is suspense courtesy of a wicked brother-in-law who will use any means necessary to get what he wants. I like the authors’ writing style. I found myself slowly being drawn into the story. I liked Joanna, who grew up in the ten years since she last saw Parker. She is a strong, determined, and creative woman. Joanna creates stylish hats for the ladies of the town (the hats during this time period were beautiful). I liked that Joanna had matured in character and faith. Emily is a busy yet adorable child. She managed to wrap Parker around her little finger. Marvella is a great character. She added humor to the story. Faith is prominent throughout the story as well as hope and healing. I wish, though, that the plot had not followed a foreseeable path and there had been less reiteration. The story has a good message and an ending that left me smiling. An Unexpected Grace is a pleasing conclusion to The Jewels of Kalispell series. An Unexpected Grace is a touching tale with a blackguard brother-in-law, a rambunctious child, attractive chapeaus, a traveling troupe, a flirtatious Frenchwoman, and a gracious God.

Captivating Christian Historical Romance
This conclusion to the wonderful Jewels of Kalispell series is another winner for this super-talented writing duo. The well-paced, faith-filled plot with perfectly placed twists, grabbed my attention instantly and kept me reading intently to the end. The compelling, beautifully crafted cast of characters includes a determined heroine, an admirable hero, a precocious toddler, and one of the most devious and arrogant villains I have ever encountered! It was a delightful pleasure reconnecting with matchmaker Marvella, who kept me laughing, and honorable Judge Ashbury, whose protectiveness brought sighs of contentment. I enjoyed the way Johanna and Parker's second chance romance slowly evolves. I especially appreciate how they both show genuine faith as they seek to follow God's plan for their lives and learn to trust His sovereignty. A bit of suspenseful danger and an authentic 1905 Montana setting enhance the story. I think all Christian Historical Fiction fans will enjoy this story and the series as much as I did! I read an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley with no obligation to write a positive review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
