lousy monitor does not connect propertly

this monitor sucks will not connect up on hdmi cable to connector in rear of computer slot. refuses to match signal to turn on monitor. do not buy this head ache, many others had same problem. quote asus sucks never fixed the problem. connection does not operate properly.
