what is up with all the 5 star reviews??

this thing is absolutely a nightmare of a device. it's always lagging and i'm not talking 1-2 sec delays, like 10-30 sec delays. it has connection problems, sometimes websites won't load and the browser will tell me I don't have an internet connection even though I do and works fine on my iPhone and iPad. I always catch myself just switching to my iPhone 11 for browsing. my IPHONE 11 works better than this device. I do not recommend this device. the people leaving 5 star reviews are either bots are people who have low expectations.

DO NOT buy

Do not buy even if your desperate. Target and the third party did not refund me I had the laptop for 32 days and the laptop started being slow take a long time to for everything to load up. Target said they could not refund me at all then I called the third party left messages and emailed them no response

I just wanna play Sims

It's obviously really good as a work computer but if you were wanting to play games and other stuff you're not gonna be able to do that at all on any kind of platform I've tried and cried. I just might see if I can return it or sell itbut in all seriousness though it's fine it's a good working computer. It works just not if you wanna play games. And the volume doesn't get really high or the brightness of the screen

Chromebooks are different from Windows laptop products in that they are designed to be used primarily while connected to the Internet, with most applications and documents living in the cloud. Because of this they don’t have much for on-board storage but they also are not expensive either. Chromebooks run off apps like an Android phone or tablet so you cannot download and install applications or .exe files. You cannot directly play Sims on a Chromebook, as it is not a supported platform for the game, and it is not available through the Google Play Store. If you need to use third party software applications that must be installed on the computer, a Chromebook is likely not for you, where a Windows laptop would suit you better.
