It was stiff, with too much lumbar support. You have to slam the foot rest to go back in.

We tried out several $300 chairs and this was by far the least comfortable. I’m average height and my feet hang off the chair. The cushion is less than 2” thick. Overall just disappointed.

Does what it's intended to do

I recently purchased this chair for our nursery, and while it didn’t have any reviews at the time (I’m not sure if it's a new listing), we decided to give it a try since it was on sale, we wanted a comfortable, multi-functional chair for the baby’s room. We were looking for something that could function as a rocker, recliner, and still be visually appealing. Pros: Design: The chair has a modern, sleek aesthetic that looks great in a nursery. It’s not bulky or overpowering in style, which was a big plus for us. Functionality: As a rocker and recliner, it performs well. The rocking motion is smooth, and the recline function allows for some relaxation during long feeding sessions or baby care. It also swivels, which adds an extra level of flexibility. Fabric & Build Quality: The fabric feels semi-thick and durable. It has a nice look and seems like it’s made to last. Given it’s just out of the box, I’m curious to see how the material holds up with time, but for now, I’m satisfied. Cons: Stiffness: The chair is a bit stiff right now. The swivel feature is a little resistant, and the recliner mechanism requires a good amount of force to operate. It’s a bit tough to pull up the recliner with one hand; I find myself using both hands and some muscle to get it into position. Likewise, when returning the chair to an upright position, it takes some effort to push the bottom back in. Note: I expect that these features may loosen up with more use, as it’s likely just a matter of breaking it in. Comfort: In terms of comfort, I would rate it a 6/10. It’s not super plush yet—it’s still fairly firm out of the box. Again, I’m hopeful that with time, the seat and back will soften a bit as the materials settle in. I do wish I didn’t have to use force to hold my reclining position in place but it’s fine for the moment. Overall Thoughts: Despite the initial stiffness and the need for some muscle to operate the recliner, I’m pleased with this chair. It offers good value for the price—especially compared to some of the high-end nursery chairs that can cost thousands of dollars. For anyone looking for a functional, modern, and budget-friendly nursery chair with all the features (rocker, recliner, and swivel), I would recommend this one. My current rating is around 6.5/10, but I’m optimistic that it will improve with time.
