21" Woven Rattan Storage Trunk Brown - Threshold™ designed with Studio McGee

I was so happy when I saw this in stock on 5/10 and delivery was for 5/11!!! However, what a disappointment . It looks cheap all around and horrible. Wicker is not really even wicker or rattan whatever you want to call this, it's rough and flimsy. The brown wood like material around the opening is screwed in and you can see the screws, the very cheap faux leather straps they couldn't have found anything cheaper looking has an orange coloring to it . The only great thing about this was the size, that's why I gave it one star. So for all those people who gave a 5 star rating I am unclear what for. Shea McGee, shame on you for signing off on this .

Would like there to be a handle to carry. Roomy inside.

Looks extremely cheap. Would rather spend the extra $$ at pottery barn for a nicer one or try and find something at tjmaxx.

This is a nice decorative trunk. I’m not sure why others have rated this low. It’s not large or sturdy enough for toys or heavy items, but used as a small blanket or pillow trunk, it’s fine. The details are goof for the price point and I’m quite happy with its looks.

Not the best quality, but it works for the top of my closet system to keep smaller items together. It’s light enough to easily move up and down to get things out when needed.

Very cheap and flimsy would not recommend for kids to store toys

Leather straps look cheap. The dark brown edging also looks super fake and cheap. This is a return for me.

A lot lighter in person than online. But I love it for toy storage downstairs. An attached lid is a must.

Do I think this is worth $55? Absolutely not. The finish isn’t great—certainly not at the Studio McGee level I’ve come to expect—however, at the end of the day, I bought it to make toy clean-up a little easier on my toddler. And for that, it’ll do. I’ll probably stain the rattan to look at little more finished; sadly, there’s not much to be done about the rubber-y black finish on the edges of the leather straps bleeding onto the brown… but it’s already been affectionately dubbed “the Treasure Chest,” so there’s no returning it now.
