It's a scam, nothing is sent to your email, nothing is being covered. Don't bother, just get apple care. There is no way to contact anyone. If you have a claim there is no way to make it.

Airpods
I am so upset cause I paid for this service that doesn’t include the option if one AirPod is lost than they replace it! The one in store had that option and I purchased thinking both are same Now I discover it is not and I want my money back
