2 of 2 damaged, where is Target's quality control?
I ordered this freezer during a great Black Friday sale. It was delivered to our stoop with the box falling apart and a top corner of the freezer badly damaged. We returned it to Target for a replacement, which upon being unboxed was ALSO damaged. My poor husband has moved this freezer up and down the stairs 2x now. No quality control at Target it seems.

Dissapointed in Target Shipping
I had so many cosmetic defects upon delivery I lost count. The size & room are perfect. The product is great. It is quiet, & the temperature when plugged up started freezing on the sides in less than 30minutes. I put total blame on Target for shipping this order the way they did. The bottom of the box had been remade & did not cover the entire box, they knew this when they shipped it.

Excellent Value and Critical Food Safety Reminder. This is an absolutely great deal—the value of the food I'm storing in it far exceeds the cost of the freezer itself. However, I want to emphasize the importance of monitoring the internal temperature. I highly recommend purchasing a thermometer. You can get a basic $5 one, or better yet, invest in an ACU-RITE model, which features an alarm with a 5-minute delay if the temperature goes outside your set range.🌡️ (The delay is so it does not sound when loading food, etc.) Temperature Setting Note: You want ZERO (0°F)!I set my desired range from -5°F to +5°F. A freezer temperature of -25°F is completely unnecessary unless you're storing something like, well, a cryogenically preserved specimen! You want 0 for optimal food quality and safety. Ice cream stored at -25°F requires an air chisel to scoop! Until you get an accurate thermometer, you can assume they all perform similarly and adjust the dial according to the photo I've marked for ZERO. Set your freezer dial a little to the left of the blue dot, to be safe for now, in the -10 to -5 range. Then buy a thermometer! To be clear, with the dial at the purple dot, it was -25 COLD! Blue dot was ZERO, perfect. It's -2 now, a while ago it was +1, normal, fluctuation.

My review is for the delivery process of this item. After staying at home for the entire day waiting for the delivery, the status changed to delivery for tomorrow. The window for delivery is from 8am. - 8pm. This large of a window is inconvenient for working people. Also, once the freezer was fee liveried the next day it was left curbside with no call or doorbell ring. Anyone driving by could have picked it up. The freezer is in working order and O hope that its performance will be better than the Target delivery service!
