Q: do these lights flicker?

A: I bought 2 sets of these, and yes they absolutely flicker. I couldn't see it at first until I took a video of them with my phone and there it was. Now I can't unsee it and I get headaches.

Terrible quality. Do not buy!
I bought 2 of these for my house this Christmas. Of the two, one didn’t work right out of the box. I ordered a replacement. It also didn’t work out of the box. Both defective sets had sections of the lights that wouldn’t come on. Tried replacing bulbs and fuses with no improvement. Total junk. Will not buy this brand of lights again.

Poor quality
They were pretty for the 1 day they lasted. Only 1/3 remained lit up, even after changing fuses. After a week of keeping them up and being annoyed by the look of it, the entire strand went dead. I threw away the spool and packaging so I can’t even return.

Not warm white
Seems like good quality but definitely not warm white as described. It has that cool white tone typical of many LEDs that are described as warm white nowadays. I hate this trend! It makes the season feel colder than it already is. I was looking for the traditional hue that mimics candlelight. They also have an almost imperceptible flicker that’s a bit nauseating. Will be returning.

Larger Xmas Light with just the right glow
Decided to go with a new look outside with a round larger light vs the standard Xmas light. These are a true warm white despite being LED. Typically I find them to be a blue white which I dislike. You can plug in multiple strands so decorating outside this year was pretty seamless. Very happy with how they look. Hoping they stand up to the bitter cold weather we are having. Plus the reel they are strung on make for perfect storage when putting them away after this season!

One third didn't work
Ordered two reels of lights. Took them out to put on our outside tree and the middle third of the string on one reel didn’t work (so I didn’t notice until you unwind enough of the light string). Super annoying since the store doesn’t have any in stock anymore and I got them on sale so reordering will cost more and require me to wait and not finish decorating the tree. You expect new lights to all work out of the box. Tried replacing the fuses and still didn’t work so I assume it’s the wiring. Just a reminder about the continued decrease in quality I’ve noticed in Target products and why I’ve shopped at Target less and less over the last year.

Arrived broken
Bought two spools of these. One worked fine and the other came with half the lights not working. We tested them on the spool but the broken sections were hidden. It was quite the pain to find out they did not work after hanging them on the house.
