Smells like Elmers glue; looks more orange than it should
Smells like Elmers glue; looks more orange than it should. If this thing makes my entire car smell like glue on a hot day or screws up my clothes, I'm going to have a conniption.

No more sweat
Durability: I've only had this for a week so I can't speak to the durability, but it seems pretty well made. The strings that hold the beads together are like a very thick plastic fishing line material. If you're not too careless getting in & out of your car, it should last a while. Comfort: I was concerned that with my skinny, bony butt the beads would be umcomfortable but it is actually very comfortable. Cooling: The whole reason I got this was to prevent sweating on the back of my legs and back. I live in TX and my seat covers are a faux leather that doesn't breathe at all. This beaded seat cover has totally cured that. I'm really happy about that and so highly recommend this product if the cooling quality is the main feature you're looking for. Now I don't have to worry about getting out of the car with a wet back and back of my thighs, like the day before I got this. Noise: It is a bit noisy as you move around, but not a big deal to me. Just sounds like wooden beads rustling around. I'll get used to it. Fit: I have a 2001 4Runner suv and it fits very well. It's wide enough and long enough. It would be nice if it didn't stop a few inches short of the front of the seat, but my thights don't really make much contact in that area, so the cooling effect isn't much diminished by that. As you can see from the picture, it wraps around the upper back. At first I thought that would look a little goofy, but I don't mind now and it makes it more secure. I'd say the only real shortcoming with this is the included strings that you secure the back of the seat part with. They need to be longer. Also there are no securing strings in front. I had to add my own as you see in the picture. Not a huge deal though. Looks: Overall I think it looks okay, but I really wish it was available in black or grey. I almost bought a black one, but that was more expensive with worse reviews. I'll have to get used to this one, although I feel like a 1970's cab driver in a developing country. I'll probably remove it if I ever have a date. I mean when I have a date. I can't lose hope! She's out there somewhere and maybe she'll think beaded seat covers are groovy. Peace out!
