Convenient but a little light

I found this very nice and convenient, but it is a little too light for me. It tends to move back away from me when I tap the foot pedal. On the other side, the holder for the back is a great feature, as I don't have to tie the side of the bag to make it fit the basket.

I really didn’t know how adorable a trashcan could be until I purchased this one. It’s a perfect size for a small bathroom. It blends in well and sleek and modern.

Great, cute little trash can :)

Pretty happy with this! Will have to agree with another reviewer about the pedal to open the can—it can be iffy sometimes but the minimal design wins me over. Love that it has a cover so my cats dont dig through this! If the pedal worked 100% of the time, I’d give this 5 stars. However, for the price and design and if ur willing to overlook the mildly annoying pedal, get it!!

I liked it so much. I bought it again

I liked it so much. I bought it twice, but the reason I had to buy the second is because the first one broke. The mechanism, when stepped upon, is easily broken, due to the plastic construction of the attachment piece.

Keeps breaking

There’s definitely some sort of design flaw with this trash can. When I step on it, the lid doesn’t come back down automatically and there’s this piece that keeps breaking off near the hinge. I went through two trash cans and both times it was the same issue.

Step Trash Can Needs Improvement

Product needs two (2) fixes: (1) upscale volume/capacity by 50%, and (2) either put a removable bucket/liner on the can or allow lid to lock in the fully open position to make emptying the can less of a logistical/ergonomic hassle.

Excellent little trashcan

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this trashcan to replace one that had broken in our bathroom. This trashcan manages to have a smaller footprint but the same capacity. The liner holder works well and the mechanism is also good. As with all Yamazaki products the appearance is unobtrusive and modern with clean lines. I was surprised that this is plastic because I anticipated a metal trash, just from previous experience I think, but this is excellent

Bathroom Trash Bin
