Went with Embark
I won't use Wisdom panel again. Unfortunately, over 4 weeks later there was no sample available for processing, First occurrence was my fault, not enough DNA (though I followed all instructions and have never had an issue with Embark). Then the second round, I was told processing would begin soon and would get update soon. After a week went by with no update, I reached out again and was told they never the received the sample after all. Way too much trouble after Embark got me results quickly and efficiently, like always.

Constantly hit up for upgrades
It's hilarious to be asked for feedback when I haven't gotten my DNA results. Not a ton of communication but "it's at our lab" but instead get a marketing email campaign to upgrade. Maybe received 3-5 before being asked for my review on my experience. Maybe a message about when I may expect my results would resonate more.

My dog from breeder
I just sent an email about how off the results are. We know exactly where our dog came from and have seen his sibling’s DNA results. His DNA test with Wisdom was either mixed with another dog’s kit or your testing is WAY off.

Foster puppies mystery solved
When fostering for Alaqua Animal Refuge we often get pregnant dog that has puppies with unknown male dog. So to help solve this mystery, as a volunteer foster, I often do a DNA on one of the puppies. We know there can be several male dogs in on the litter but this helps us a lot by identifying what the breed mix of mom and that one puppy. Wisdom has been the go to for this as they are fast and give lots of information.

Totaly Suprised with Results!!
I found two puppies at about two months of age. They had obviously been dumped. Their physical coloring indicated they were Black & Tan Coonhounds. Clearly they were brother and sister with identical coloration and markings very consistent with the Black & Tan Coonhound, primarily solid black with tan markings. The Wisdom Panel DNA result was a complete surprise indicating they were in fact 91% Beagles. I was going to keep them regardless but finding they were smaller breed animals than I had anticipated was going to be much easier than they would been as huge hounds. Thanks Wisdom Panel for the most welcome results!
