Extremely easy!! Instead of plugging your Christmas tree lights to wall socket you plug tit to the adapter. Then on the tree wireless remote pull the plastic tab and press the on button… it’s that easy.

What a dud
I want to rate this zero stars, but that isn’t an option. This thing worked for 10 seconds to turn on the lights. When we tried to use it to turn off the lights it didn’t work. We got a dud. Would not recommend.

All Year Use
I actually love this thing. I use it all year round! For Christmas, I use it for the tree. But when that’s done, I connect it to a standing lamp. It’s great. I can turn the lamp on without out getting up!
