I just had my third child and I never had anything like this with either of my other two. I really wish I had. This kit made collecting colostrum in the days leading up to my induction and days in the hospital easy and reassuring. The directions are easy to follow and everything is sterile and ready to go. This entire kit is amazing and I’d highly recommend you get it if you’re planning on collecting colostrum or even getting it as a gift for someone!

I chose to not collect colostrum before birth as a precaution to not do anything to induce early labor (I’m a teacher—longterm sub situation made things tricky). However, my son had a pretty difficult time getting a good latch pretty much immediately, which I expected after having similar issues with my 2 other children. This kit was a lifesaver to have on hand to ensure that my little guy was getting colostrum! Having two different sized syringes was great as the amount I was able to express each time varied. Would definitely do this again!

I really enjoyed testing out this new colostrum kit from willow. I liked how many syringes there are, how the labels work and the sample bags. I loved having two different sizes of syringes to use as well. A few things I didn’t like though were how small the collection cup is. Not super realistic for larger busts. And the plastic container aren’t big enough to hold all the syringes that are included to collect the colostrum. As well as the plastic container don’t hold up well. I dropped it once and they broke. All that to say I like the product and would recommend it, but it could use a few improvements.

So grateful to have been sent the new colostrum kit from Willow. I’m a seasoned Willow mom- having used the 360, the go, the new hand pump, and now the colostrum kit. The kit really comes with everything you could need to collect and store colostrum! I will say, I ended up using my Willow hand pump, because from birth to birth I’ve consistently not removed very much with hand expression. I was still able to use all of the components to safely store colostrum, which came in handy when we ended up in the ER/being admitted for two days postpartum for low oxygen. It was nice knowing I had extra nutrition for him while his body was working so hard.

This kit comes with everything you would need to collect colostrum before or after baby. There are two different syringe size sizes 1ml and 10ml which are perfect for different feeding situations along with a plastic storage container to keep them together in the freezer or fridge. There’s a collection cup and breast milk bags as well. Everything comes pre sterilized to decrease the nesting workload as well.

I loved using the Willow Colostrum Collection Kit. The syringes made collecting colostrum easy and mess-free, and the colostrum cup is the perfect size for catching and transferring those small but important drops. I’m also a big fan of the Willow Gos—they’re the best portable pumps ever. Being wearable and cordless makes pumping so much easier while still going about your day with two under two! Highly recommend!

4. 5 STARS 🌟 This kit is incredibly comprehensive and truly includes everything you need to get started with colostrum harvesting. It takes the guesswork out of the process, which is a huge relief during the third trimester. The Highlights: Expression Cup (My Favorite!): The measurement marks on the cup are a total game-changer. I loved being able to see exactly what I was producing in real time before transferring it to storage. It’s very encouraging to see those milliliters add up! Complete Organization: Having the freezer storage boxes included made my prep so much more organized. Everything feels high quality and sterile. Detailed Labels: The labels are very thorough, though they are quite large, a bit bigger than I personally preferred, but they definitely get the job done. The "Almost" Perfect Parts: The kit comes with 1ml syringes. While they work perfectly well, I found myself wishing for 3ml options. Moving to the smaller 1ml size felt like I was using a lot more individual units, which ended up taking up more room in my freezer than I anticipated. Overall, this is a fantastic, high quality kit. If you don't mind the smaller syringe size, it is easily a 5-star product!

This kit is the perfect introductory set. It comes with just enough syringes to get you going. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the collection cup it was an awkward hold for me. The storage boxes are perfect for the syringes and to freeze milk bags flat later on. The included stickers made labeling syringes a breeze. I would recommend to anyone who has interest in collecting colostrum!

This is good kit for collecting colostrum. I liked how it had two different size syringes to use to store depending on how much I was able to express.

I love this colostrum collecting kit! Learning how to collect colostrum as a first time mom can be confusing at first, but this kit includes a helpful informative guide covering all the things to walk you through. I like how it includes the different syringe sizes, and the collection cup worked nicely for hand expressing. Personally I only used the date section on the stickers, so I would’ve preferred a smaller sticker option for just the date, but that’s honestly my only “con”. The storage boxes were also really nice to have! This would DEFINITELY make a great gift for first time moms, or any expecting moms too!!

I was so happy to get this. Willow did your thang with this, when I say this was so easy to use and get more then 20ml for my baby girl was exceptional. I was able to easily pour the colostrum into the cup to get an accurate amount. I was able to choose 5ml or 1ml to collect it and and also write the label for it. I really liked this kit. I appreciate the reusable cup, to hand express and the multiple size syringes to store the colostrum. The only thing I would think about change is the storage boxes, to make them a little bigger so more syringes fit. But otherwise, this kit is awesome!

It was easy to use, well designed, and really helpful during those early postpartum days… I love the labels! As a pumping mom, having something that makes collecting and storing colostrum simple makes a big difference. I’m excited to see the upcoming pump bag update as well!

I’m currently 38 weeks pregnant and bought a massive pack of syringes online, because I couldn’t find them in smaller quantities. I love that this comes with just 10 of each size so I’m not overwhelmed by syringes and I don’t feel like I’m wasting them. I love that there are cases I can put them in to freeze to make it easier to organize. I love the collection cup as well and it may actually be my favorite part! Anything else I’ve tried to collect colostrum in was uncomfy, but this cup is small enough it’s so easy to get it out with the syringes, it has the perfect slope on the bottom to make sure it pools easily enough. I love that there are measurements on the side to show you how much is in there when it’s tilted to the side, and the lip on the top is the most helpful. I have found that the thicker the colostrum the more likely it is to just roll down the breast rather than go straight into the cup and the lip on the top makes sure that no drop is wasted. Overall, very happy and will be recommending to anyone looking for something to make things easier!
