Too stretchy?
I wanted to love this carrier so bad but unfortunately it is not only just as time consuming to put on as my wrap but it’s SO stretchy my baby does not stay in a safe position. I am 5’9” and about 160# so I am not a small person by any means and even with the straps as tight as I can get them baby ends up with his head way too far down to the point I can no longer kiss him which is a safety identifier. I did watch the videos to verify I was using it correctly. He is also 11lbs which is well within to top weight for this carrier. I was hoping this would be my saving grace while going back to work next month but I’ll be buying a different carrier as this one makes me nervous to use. 2 stars for how soft this thing is. Wish it kept baby in a better position.

Soft and stretchy, but legs are too wide for newborn!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this with my 6-week old weighing 12 pounds. Pro: Material is sooo soft and stretchy! Feels amazing against newborn skin. Super thick and padded lumbar support right under sternum is great since it’s high enough to not touch my c-section incision. Good back support for walks!Big Con: Definitely too wide for newborn hips/legs (also confirmed by multiple pediatric therapists that it’s too wide). Not sure why WildBird designed a buckle wrap specifically for newborns to be this wide? Especially when you can’t tuck their feet into the wrap like other newborn wraps/slings. Small Con: Hard to put on as just one person, specifically when trying to throw the second strap back and across my back to then bring forward to buckle ‘cause the material is so stretchy. Gets a little easier with practice.

Baby wearing has never been more comfortable!

I highly recommend it over a wrap because of its ease of use and added support. The lumbar support is essential. I wouldn’t get anything done in my house if it weren’t for this carrier!

Perfect for newborns!
My little guy was only 6 lbs when he was born so this carrier was perfect for him! He spent so much time in it as he loved to be worn and it was comfortable for both of us. This is the perfect combination between a wrap and structured carrier. Highly recommend!

The best newborn wrap

Disappointed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try this product with my newborn baby, so I bought it before he was born. The first thing I noticed is how soft and stretchy the fabric is, however that makes it feel like they don't have enough support to be in the proper position. The seat is too wide so I had to wait because his knees were not where they supposed to. He is now 1 month old and I still can't use it because he doesn't seem to like it. Waste of money for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The material is high quality; however the buckle around torso/waist does not stay tight. It also says size XS-XL and it does not get tight when my wife wears it. Overall, we are pretty disappointed given the price and that it doesn’t stay tight and or is too big for my wife.

Do Not Recommend
Would not recommend. The carrier is too wide for infant hips and the elastic leaves red indents in my infants legs and head. Both my lactation midwife and carrier support group said to get a new wrap.
