Hello everyone, I want to share a very distressing experience to warn all pet parents ❤️ Last week, my little dog almost died after chewing on a treat that was supposed to “clean her teeth and prevent tartar.” These small “toothbrush-shaped chews,” sold as safe and grain-free, got stuck in her esophagus 😢 After an emergency visit to the vet, her condition worsened the next day. She refused to eat, whimpered in pain, and was clearly suffering. It finally took a specialized procedure under anesthesia with endoscopy to remove the trapped pieces. The diagnosis: esophagitis, bacterial infection, and severe inflammation. I wasn’t just scared — I was devastated. Two sleepless nights, tears, and a huge vet bill… but thankfully, she survived ❤️ ⚠️ Please take this warning seriously: ➡️ These chews are not suitable for small dogs. ➡️ Even if they’re labeled “grain-free” or “100% natural,” they can be dangerous if swallowed without proper chewing. ➡️ Always watch your dog closely when giving these treats, and choose soft or size-appropriate options. I truly hope this post can help prevent other tragedies 🙏 Our dogs deserve better. 💔🐶 This experience made me physically sick with guilt — quite literally, as I’m now on antibiotics after a week of stress and sleepless nights... I will also be writing to the brand to warn them. Take care of your furry babies!!! Everything can change in just one minute… 😿

My dog, who usually loves any kind of treat, was not interested in it. It is overpriced considering that it is basically made of potatoes and there is nothing much better about this than other products, but it is more expensive.

12 yo Maltipoo loves to take these to a private spot and chow down. The entire stick is gone within minutes! Grateful that her favorite treat is compatible with a low fat/low sodium diet.

I’ve been using these since my dog was a pup (he is now almost 2.) At first they were fine but after over time he started vomiting hard chunks & I noticed big orange clumps in his poop. It took me a little bit to figure out what it was. To be fair he does choke things down fairly quick (I have given him the appropriate size brushee per his weight throughout his growth.) Even after very good supervision I just don’t think these are right for him. He loves them though which is a bummer!
