Yuck
I was excited to try these because I like spicy pickles and think Frank's is a decent hot sauce. But the flavor is straight up nasty. The main flavor is like that of anise. The heat is quite mild (kinda like Frank's sauce). This jar is headed for the trash.

Save your cash
I thought it would be worth a try, since I like some.spicy foods, but....no. The hot sauce taste is too overwhelming. It's like drinking Frank's straight out of the bottle. I really don't like putting them on anything. I don't like to waste anything, so I occassionally have 5 as a side, and can"t wait til the jar is empty.

The most disgusting thing I've ever eaten. Unfortunately I bought two jars and they're going in the trash. Maybe they're defective batch is 4272428220 with a sell by date July 5, 2026. Unfortunately Vlasic has no contact form online

What happened?
Opened brand new jar of VLASIC CRUNCHY SWEET GHERKINS pickles. Completely soft, limp, no crunch. I tasted one, uhhhh .. Sorry, threw them away and we will move on ..

Do Not Try
I bought these a few days ago hoping that I had found a new hot pickle. I did not. The taste was awful and the texture was even worse. No crunch just mushy horrible taste. I honestly thought they might be spoiled but they are not. Will not buy again and do not recommend.

The perfect Bloody Mary pickle DOES exist !!!
I admit, the first pickle out of the jar was not tasty at all. Honestly, it was absolutely disgusting. Plus, I'm not a huge Frank's fan so that didn't help... I put them back and the fridge and decided to give them another try a few days later. And to my surprise, somehow they got better! They're crunchy and have the perfect amount of heat and tang. Pouring a splash of juice into a bloody mary with a pickle or two on the side = amazing! Please don't ever stop making / selling these!!!

These two flavors don't work well together
I bought these a few weeks ago and I'm my opinion the flavors just don't work well together. I love Vlasic pickles and Frank's hot sauce but the two flavors together? No.

Not what I expected
Something is not quite right with the recipe, I wanted to love these, but they tasted like cigarette ash or something really unpleasant. They weren't crisp at all either, and juice squirted out everywhere with each guest who ate one even when we tried to be as careful as possible- they were just that squishy!! Would never buy again and I love franks red hot :(

Horrible taste not even close to Frank’s
Who came up with this idea. This didn’t even come close to Frank’s. It was a total waste of my money. Went straight to the garbage. You may need someone better with a palate to create something so distinct in flavor. It would have been better if I poured Frank’s into regular pickles.

Was not worth it!
Gross!! My family did not like these at all and we will not recommend them to others. The taste was nasty.

I get the polarizing reviews. The flavor was unexpected the first time I tried them but give them a chance! Love Franks and love Vlasic. Perfect in a pint of your favorite American lager while the game is on.

If I could rate this 0 stars I would. These have the worst flavor and texture I have had from a pickle. They were soggy and watered down in flavor. Gross!!!
