Description

Tulips are the indispensable blooms of the spring garden as they bring it to life! They are unique in the range of size, shape and bold colors found in almost every color spectrum that only tulips provide. Tulips are suitable for a wide range of plantings, are excellent in the rock garden, in formal beds, as elegant cut flowers and for containers. They can be used in nearly any garden design scheme. Flowers are upward facing, with linear to lance-shaped green leaves on the stem. Tulip descriptions can become quite technical, as they are grouped into 15 different divisions, describing the petals, stamens and leaves in detail. Plant several different varieties of tulips throughout the garden to extend the blooming time.

Getting ready for Spring flowers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered these to get ready for some fresh spring flowers. Shipped fast and arrived very nicely packaged. The package arrived with grow instructions. In my area I am not ready to plant them just yet I should be able to plant them towards the start of November. I love the variety of color in this selection and look forward to having tulips in the Spring

Looking forward to spring flowers!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bulbs arrived packaged very carefully and on top of the bag of bulbs was card with the beautiful color photo and growing instructions. According to where I live, Zone 7 (Albuquerque NM), the ideal planting time is October to early November. Since we are a still a bit on the warmer side, I'm waiting for another week or two to let the ground cool down before planting. The bulbs are large and healthy looking, and I believe will grow into lovely flowers come spring. These bulbs come from the Netherlands, which is well known for their vibrant, beautiful tulips!

Beautiful Van Zyverden Tulip Bulbs- Fire Pot Blend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can’t wait to see these beautiful tulips bloom next spring, the photos are absolutely gorgeous! The colors are vibrant – five different varieties of tulips make for a colorful bouquet. Planting instructions are specific and clear – easy to follow for our late fall planting. Hardy in USDA zones 3-8 (we’re in zone 5) and guaranteed to grow 1 year. I’m so anxious to see them grow in our flower garden next year!
