The packets are clearly labeled, and the seeds were simple to plant without any mess. I haven’t gotten any sprouts yet, but the instructions say some varieties take longer to germinate, so I’m giving them time. The mix of flowers is beautiful, and I’m excited to see how they turn out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a really great experience growing the Back to the Roots Organic Sunflower ‘Lemon Queen’ seeds. They were super easy to plant, and the instructions were straightforward. Most of my seeds sprouted with no problem, and they even started reseeding themselves the following year, which was a nice surprise. Definitely a low-maintenance win. One of my favorite things about these sunflowers is how many pollinators they bring in. My garden was buzzing — literally — with bees, butterflies, and even birds coming for the seeds. It made the whole space feel so alive. Aesthetically, they’re gorgeous. The soft lemon-yellow petals with the darker centers really pop, and they brighten up the garden in such a pretty, cheerful way. I also loved that each plant produced multiple blooms throughout the season, so there was always something beautiful to look at from mid-summer into fall. They also make great cut flowers — I brought a few inside and they looked amazing in a vase. A couple of things to keep in mind: the seeds are on the smaller side, so they’re not really the type you'd grow for snacking, though the birds absolutely love them. And although most people (myself included) had great results, I did see a few folks mention inconsistent blooming. I’m guessing it mostly comes down to growing conditions. The good thing is the company backs them with a “100% guaranteed to grow” promise, so they’ll send replacements if something goes wrong. Overall, I’d definitely recommend the ‘Lemon Queen’ seeds if you want something easy, beautiful, and great for pollinators. They’ve been a lovely addition to my garden.

The back of the packaging gives you all the information you need plus more. Since the colder months are approaching, I planted them inside and I will make sure to give it plenty of sunlight and time under the grow light. All seeds have been planted and now we wait.

It’s especially good if you want to attract pollinators, fill the back of a garden border, or cut some stems for arrangements.

I’m expecting the sunflowers to be of a decent size, not huge but not small. These bloom from mid summer until frost so the temperatures are about right where I live. Not sure what Influenster asks of when describing noise but I’ve never heard of a noisy sunflower. Seeds are obviously organic.

Based on my zone, the best time to plant them is in April. They come packaged very well and they’re very fresh seeds. Comes with a handful of seeds that I can’t wait to plant next spring!
