Don't buy online, you will be sent a returned book
I was sent a book that had been previously unwrapped and sealed back up (poorly) with Scotch tape. When you pay a premium for a book and half the fun is unwrapping it, this defeats the purpose. I have also ordered games online that arrived opened/used with missing pieces. DO BETTER TARGET.

I was excited with the book I got, but it would have been cheaper to buy the book as it was and not as the unwrap-a-thriller. Difference of about $3. Saw one of the other books offered this way was a $4 up charge.

NEVER ship from store. They use FedEx. Ordered on Thursday from Virginia. Package traveled to Maryland and now stuck in Tennessee for unknown amount of time. If does not arrive by Monday, will cancel. DO NOT SHIP

Great idea, but...
I saw these all over the internet, and I was really excited when I saw one in my local store. I love that it pushes you out of your comfort zone to read a different genre, but the book is received has a deluxe edition for almost $5 less. I just think the books should be of equalish value.

The Most Fun Way to Pick Your Next Book
What I enjoyed most is that it pushes you out of your comfort zone and introduces you to books you might not normally choose. Since the author is a bestseller, you know you’re likely getting a high quality book. This would also make a great gift for book lovers, especially if you enjoy surprises or want to get back into reading without overthinking which book to buy.
