Black section bleeds when shampooed
I love this rug. It is the perfect rug for my room, but after a few months (and an incident with spilled cat food) I went to shampoo it... turns out that the black lines in this (I have the black and white version) run when you shampoo them. That means my rug looked worse after I shampooed it than it did before. Such a bummer for a white rug to not be shampooable.

Very distressed on day 1 and other issues
Definitely has a distressed look right out of the package that is not shown in the photos. I’m annoyed I didn’t look at the many reviews talking about this before I bought it. It also has no structure to it so anything that moves on top of it (like a chair) messes up the rug, even with a rug pad underneath. You also can only vacuum “with the grain” or else it gets stuck in the vacuum (we have a Dyson). Maybe that’s making the parts that are unraveling worse? Idk.

Perfect pop of color!
I must admit, I wasn’t expecting to be blown away, especially at the lower price point. But I wanted something with color in my kitchen with darker cabinetry. Boy did this rug deliver! It’s a softer texture, made well. Has thus far handled regular kitchen foot traffic including two hungry dogs so now I’m jumping back on to order more!

Comfy and beautiful
We really like this rug! The color is a nice deep green, and it looks modern but also kind of homey. The rug is soft and somewhat cushy for a pretty flat rug - you might be able to get by without a rug pad.
