The pokemon adventure.....maybe
The toy is fun and can guess some answers right. We read a review and someone recommended purchases the product online because the toy saves the Pokémon it guesses and if you purchase in store due to kids testing the product out it may save some Pokémon into its memory making the game more challenging to use. My son says using the book it comes with can be helpful in getting it to guess correctly he also recommends playing with family members. Overall the toy is ok, it kept my son busy for a little while and brought him laughs.

A waste of money
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 6 year old. All it did was beep would we press the Pokéball button. I read the instructions and even unscrewed the bottom to reset it. I replaced the batteries and still couldn’t get it to talk. I would return it, but my son threw away the box.

lol, it is what it is...
I mean it's cute... if you're expecting the quality of that little 20 questions game, you'll be disappointed. this think cannot get anything right for its life. really bad program. but my kid does like and has spent some time having fun with it and laughing at how wrong it is...

(no review title)
I would give this a higher rating because my kids do enjoy it but there was 2 issues we had with it when we bought it. First, there were a lot of people playing with it at the store so it was getting used like crazy so the batteries did not last. Second there is a common defect on the battery door. many people return it because the door does not seat so the batteries do not engage. I highly recommend to order a brand new one online and not to buy it from the store. Lastly, wait for it to go on sale. 25.00 for this item was a bit too much, got it for 18.00

Do NOT purchase in-store.
Do not purchase in the store. It keeps track of the characters you've guessed and adds them to your "portfolio" and 20 other kids already tried it out. After my son got his first guess correct, it said he had 12 pokemon in his portfolio already. I'm returning it and buying online.

Not a Board Game/Game
It’s not really a game. It’s you talking to a ball who tries to guess which pokemon you’re describing from the booklet they give you. It gets confusing sometimes because they change who pokemon has an evolve form and take about 2-3 mins to maybe guess the correct pokemon. There 150 pokemon for you to describe to the ball and then after that, the game is over. It’s kind of boring unless you’re lonely and need someone to talk to. I returned the game the next day

Do not buy
This toy doesn't work. It doesn't hear you correctly and frustrated my 7 year old to tears. It tends to hear everything as No and ruins the guessing process.

Disappointing
The voice recognition is horrible. It can barely tell the difference between “yes” and “no” answers so it “mishears” your answers about half of the time. It’s incredibly frustrating and disappointing.

Kids love it parents not so much.
My seven-year-old plays with it extensively and I listen to it extensively. It's loud and it talks a lot. But she loves it. It is a play it in your room game.
