I ordered THESE from Target at a more expensive price instead of another co. because they said they’d be delivered in 2 days and then they changed their delivery date after purchase. Then I had nothing but issues when setting them up. They wouldn’t pair. I have another set (same set) and no issues in 3 years. Now on Christmas they are not working at all and half the tree isn’t lit. We tried everything and the controller is in fact bad. These should be flawless at this price point.

The lights are two separate strings of lights coming from the control unit despite the display image making it look like they're one straight line
In short, I like having string lights strung up around my living room, but the way my outlets are placed, I need to have one continuous string of lights to set it up properly. These lights aren't cheap, but I figured I'd spring for them, and I was upset to see that the lights are set up such that it's two separate bundles of light stemming from the control unit instead of them being one continuous string of lights. One of the images does show two bundles of lights, but it looked to me as though one bundle connected to the other (I already used velcro zips to shorten the slack between my daisy-chained normal string lights so I figured I could do the same here). I double checked that I didn't just misread the item description or overlook something, but nothing seems to mention how the lights are organized, so to me, this felt like deceptive advertising. The lights themselves seem to be of a nice quality, but the app kind of skeeves me out that you need to sign up for an account and explicitly check a box allowing them to sell your data to continue.

Hi there! The product is described on the website to be in two strands, for technical purpose to guarantee always the best performances possible despite the extra length of the cables. In any case please consider that you can simply spread open the two strands to use all the length, mapping the product, in fact, the effect will work following your layout 😉 More on twinkly.com > help

The Holy Grail of Lights
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These have to be the most insane, intriguing lights I have ever owned! They come in a very nice box first off, which to me meant they were going to be really good! They are app controlled and have great quality of everything they are made of from the wiring to the bulbs. They are so much fun for the hole family to try and think of all the possibilities that they can be used for. They are not only great for Christmas, but my kiddo wants them for his room, wants them around his gaming area or outside is amazing as well. There are so many possibilities of colors and patterns to come up with and if that wasn’t enough you can add music with them! They really are an all purpose use lighting and they also have so many more choices to choose from. They are such high quality they seem like they will last a lifetime. You could easily hang them from a light pole to make it like a Christmas tree, design a pattern on the wall and just endless possibilities. I highly recommend them and they are easy to use!

Very Cool
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you can justify the cost of these lights i would highly recommend them, me and the kids have been having so much fun messing with all the different color setttings and motions. Having timers and such built into the strand is super convenient. It's awesome coming home from work and having the lights on and doing their thing when i come home and they shut off on their own so i dont have to worry about it. I love these things!

We used them for Halloween and will use them for Christmas as well. The kids love changing the colors. The lights are vibrant and bright. Love this set!

The best Christmas lights
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a Twinkly Christmas tree and added the lights to make an even bigger show on our tree. Hands down the tree was the best investment we ever made and these lights are incredible. You can program multiple shows. It is controlled on an app. Our tree is beautiful and the best part of our holiday. Set up is a breeze and very straightforward. We plan on getting more lights to decorate the outside. The options for different holidays is endless. 100% worth it and will never buy any other brand of Christmas lights.
