But that was my mistake, with him fidgeting so much his nail turns when trying to cut and ends up being painful for my little man

They are easy to use and clip the nail perfectly without leaving a ragged edge like some dog clippers do. The nails were clipped perfectly each time without having to go back and clip again. I was able to use these tweezerman precision nail clippers to effectively shorten the little danger claws on each of my pups. They tolerated it well and the nails were clipped easily.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Im so glad I was able to try these out for free in exchange for my honest revie. They did a great job of cutting my dogs nails. I tried it on my pug and my cane corso and had no issues at all. They are easy to grip and easy to lock. These clippers are sturdy and feel very well-made. My only complaint is that the lock is easily opened by squeezing the handles together. It's perfectly fine for me, but if someone with a smaller child left them unattended, they could easily unlock them and possibly hurt themselves. Overall, I really liked these!

This trimmer makes it convenient to easily make the cut quickly before he jerks his paw away, and in a manner that is still safe without injuring him. Good tool to have when I can't make it to the groomers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall this was a great product to test and was pleased to have the opportunity to review this product as I had previously been in the market for a newer and better working nail grooming tool for my animals. I've tried multiple types of nail trimmers, files and grinders in the past and have had mixed results that have ranged from completely horrible and never again to mediocre, yet still something I would not want to force my 4-legged companion into on a regular basis. This product was not like that. Being new to tweezer man brand and with my previous experiences I was skeptical, as I do not want to put my critters through any unneeded stress or possible pain, but these trimmers worked great. The handles fit well in the hand, felt solid, and had a nice action when cutting, leaving a smooth, even cut across the nail and not splintering like a lot of other trimmers. Suitable for critters of all size including XL dogs like mine. I will recommend and look for other tweezer man products.

The clippers are nice and sturdy and do not have a flimsy feel to them at all. They fit perfectly in the palm of your hand and are super easy to use.
