Tushbaby Hip Seat Baby Carrier

I purchased this wonderful product to help me get around easier with my 1 year old granddaughter. I am an in shape grandmother but carrying a 23lb baby around the New York City can leave a few aches and pains. This product helped distribute the babies weight so that I could move around more easily, hold the dog leash in my hand and carry groceries all that the same time. Strollers can be hard in the city and this really is a game changer for me.

This Tushbaby has been a game changer for us. I would struggle to carry my granddaughter very far. With this seat, I can carry her a long time! It’s taken the strain off of my arm, shoulder & back. I had to get the extender because I’m a fluffy grandma. It is easy to add the extender when I need it & remove it when my daughter uses it!!! I wish I’d have had this years ago!!!

Not a fan. Does not feel good and is massively bulky. My nuna cudl is nearly the same size and actually gives relief.

The tushbaby hip carrier has been a total game changer for me. After about a month of daily use, it has truly become part of my routine. I do not even carry a purse anymore because I use all the pockets to hold my essentials. I use it both at home for daily tasks and when going out, and it makes everything so much easier. My baby loves it, and I love how comfortable it is. She weighs about 22 pounds, and the difference in weight distribution is amazing. I used to have back pain when carrying her, and now I do not. I liked it so much that I purchased the attachment for even more flexibility, and it made it even more versatile for different situations. Everywhere we go “is that a seat? A fanny pack? She loves that!”. My husband and I have used this since our baby could hold her head up at 2. 5 months old. Shes 14 months now and not a day goes by that I don’t throw it on for at least 10 minutes. Unlike later carriers it takes 5 second to throw on, and it will save your shoulders while your little one wants to be held on your hip as you multitask other things. We have the carrier attachment that we use mostly out of the house. She’s a bit big for the carrier attachment and now we carry her on our back more often than directly in front, but I foresee we’ll be using the Tushbaby for hip/side carry’s for at least another year. We get asked about this anytime we leave the house, and we’ve gifted/inspired more families than we can count to get their own.

Used this all throughout Denver’s big airport, throughout Hawaii for a week and loved it! I love the pockets, just enough for a couple diapers and wipes, and the other pocket for my phone and wallet and keys. It helps my arm SO much when carrying my one year old! I wish I got this with my other two kids when they were younger!

This product saved my life. I regret not buying it for my first. I can now use it both for my baby and also for my daughter 4 years old ! Really worth it.

This carrier is wonderful. Those that say it isn't safe apparently didn't look at the marketing photos or read the manual as they all clearly show that you need to have a hand on baby at all times. You wear it at your natural waist above the hips and it takes the back and shoulder strain from carrying baby. I carried my 16 lb, 4.5 month old through all 4 D!sney parks with this carrier, and used the new sling attachment some also. It made going all day a breeze and saved my back and shoulders. My baby loved being able to front face and see everything, which we couldn't have done in any other carrier at this age. It was super easy to swap from my husband to myself and back as needed with minimal adjustments. It wasn't hot to wear and the sling was also a good, cooling fabric. We nursed, napped and walked a ton and baby was very comfortable. It does transfer weight downward more into your hips, but that was way more comfortable than the mid and low back pain I usually have with carriers and improved over the week as we kept walking and got stronger. Would 100% recommend. Also I am plus size and the regular waist band barely fits, but I did get the extender for my overall comfort and it worked great.

This seemed like a great idea since I recently had shoulder surgery and needed to hold my 5 mo old grandson. It is so stiff, and his legs needed to go so wide that he cried every time I tried to use it. So disappointed.

The tush baby is a game changer, especially for traveling! It has made maneuvering around so much easier, and all the storage for phone, keys, wallet, AND diapers without constantly carrying around a big bulky bag. I’ve also nursed my baby on the tush baby while walking through the airport! So convienent!

My 7 month old wants to be held 24/7 but I have an older child so I am often carrying him around while doing a million things and the tush baby really saves my back. It is very easy to put on and the best part is he isn’t constantly slipping down my hip where I have to readjust and pull him back up all the time. I use this way more than my baby carriers. Highly recommend!!
