  • A: Hello, this 6-shelf bookcase comes with a total of 7 partition boards. Four of them (marked in red in the diagram) can be used to customize the number of shelves to fit your needs. Please note that after adjustment, the unused pre-drilled holes on the sides will remain exposed, and the storage space of each shelf may also vary.   • A: Dear customer, you can place it vertically or horizontally after assembly. The size of each cubby is 11.81" W x 11.81" D x 11.61"H or 11.81" W x 11.81" D x 11.02"H. So the size of bins/baskets you buy from Target must be smaller than it.

I needed a bookcase for a very specific spot in my office and this one ended up being exactly what I was looking for. It's skinny enough to fit where I need it, but tall enough that it still holds a decent amount. It anchors to the wall so I don't need to worry about it tipping despite how skinny it is. I'm not someone who typically puts together furniture, but after the initial overwhelm, it did come together in a pretty straightforward way. I really appreciated how well labeled all the parts are. The only down side ended up being that the number stickers maybe stick a little TOO well- they weren't easy to get off and there's still a bit of residue leftover. It's not a big deal for me, but a heads up for others.
