Great addition!
The 12" is a great addition to the larger set of Tramontina cookware that I purchased at the same time. I think this is a "must have" piece for anyone who is more serious as a cook. The 12" lid that came with my larger set fits well enough onto this pan though it is a little loose. Heating is nice and even and the surface is relatively "stick free" at temps under med-high.

Solid value and performance
This 12" get pan is a great pan for larger quantities or longer ingredients. It heats evenly, is well made, and is a good balance of weight vs. structural strength.

Pass on this one
I’ve had this pan a little over a year and the surface has turned black (light use). I’ve had less expensive brands not do this is in such a short amount of time. Tramontina will not cover this. I would not recommend this brand.

Tri Ply Clad stainless fry pan
I like stainless steel cookware but was so disappointed in this brand fry pan. The instructions said to not use high heat and even after following that instruction the food stuck to the bottom of the pan And was extremely difficult to clean after use I ended up throwing the pan away. Very disappointing

Not as pictured/described
You should know that the shape of the actual pan you'll receive is not what is shown on the website (see photo). Also, the bottom of the pan measures 10 inches, so it's essentially a 10 in. pan. I bought this to match the pans that come with the 12 piece set, but it doesn't match.

Excellent pan and surprisingly non-stick
Excellent, excellent pan. It is surprisingly non-stick. A small amount of oil and the appropriate temperature (not too high) and it works beautifully. The size is great for stir fries, cooking a batch of vegetables, frying fish or chicken, and even eggs! It is a bit larger than the standard frying pan so there is plenty of room. I have a Wolf induction range and the pan heats up very well. It cleans up very easily - we usually hand-wash it. This is a very versatile pan that everyone should have.

Website discript and Use & Care Card contradict
10 in Tri-Ply Clad Stainless Steel Fry Pan arrived today. Washed with mild soap and immediately used it. Went back to Use & Care card that comes with it for cleaning, but then the temp rating caught my eye. Just did a filet mignon for 10 minutes at 450F, webpage says safe to 500F. Use & Care says 350F, so which is it? If its 500 you get 5 stars, if it's 350 I'm mad and it's1 star.

Much better than All-Clad Pans!
I had previously purchased an 8 inch All-Clad fry pan but found that the handle was awkward and uncomfortable to grab. The Tramontina pans however, have a very comfortable handle and I find that I can cook food at a much lower temperature. Even my husband is enjoying using this pan to make his morning eggs!
