A: Hi Ron, If by "5G" you mean you have 5G cellular Internet service, please note that 5G and 5 GHz describe different connection types, with 5G being a cellular connection (typically between your gateway and your ISP), and the other being a Wi-Fi connection type for devices in your home. We recommend verifying that your router supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi, which is common in most modern home networks. If supported by your router, the Tapo Pan Tilt Camera can be connected to your router's 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.

A: Hi Andrea, The Tapo TCB72 supports MicroSD cards up to 512 GB. In the Tapo app, you can set recording parameters so that once the card reaches capacity, the oldest footage is automatically overwritten with the newest.

A: Hi Hamy, The Tapo TCB82 Pan-Tilt camera uses Wi-Fi for network connectivity. For power, the camera needs to be plugged into a power source using the included power adapter.

A: Hi Pguiza, Yes, the Tapo TCB72 does not require a subscription to use. You may simply connect the camera to your existing Wi-Fi network and install a microSD card (sold separately) for local recording storage. A "sync module" or "hub" is not required. The camera conveniently connects to your router's existing 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.

A: Hi jadacat, Yes, once the camera has been installed and connected to your Wi-Fi network, you can use the Tapo app on your phone to view the camera's live feed and even recorded clips, depending on whether you are using local recording (separate microSD card required) or Cloud recording (Tapo Care subscription required).

Clear picture, great camera!
This camera is so great. It was picked to keep an eye on my autistic/epileptic daughter when she is in her room. The picture is so clear and the motion alerts are great. The camera should be wall mounted and not ceiling mounted (thanks hubby), it will be reinstalled but even with an upside down picture it is super clear and easy to see and the memory card allows you to keep recordings if needed. I feel this is a great system for what I needed and might end up getting more cameras for other needs.

Perfect for my Apartment!
I have never really had a security camera like this before, but this is great for my apartment! Though I don't think I would ever have any issues, it comes in handy to know if anyone is entering my place without permission. The coverage area is just right, and it fits nicely beside my tv and faces the entry door. It would be nicer if it were just a tad smaller, but the size is nice overall. Setup took me a few minutes, but it is pretty straightforward.

Love it
Ok so I have been using this for over a month now, and I really love it. Such a good price point for this good quality camera. I never thought I’d using an indoor camera, but it’s been working out so well for me with toddlers and a baby. I can keep an eye on my two older kids in living room while I put baby to sleep. I can talk though the camera and they can respond back to me. The camera tilts AND zooms.. also love the person detection. I keep it on privacy mode when we don’t need it. I highly recommend this!!

Great quality love this camera!
This tapo indoor pan camera is awesome! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it took a little bit longer to get it set up with the app because it was having some trouble connecting to my wifi. But it can detect baby cries, dogs barking, people, vehicals, and motion as well. The app for it also shows the date and time down to the second while your recording and it does take a microSD card to store video. The picture quality is 2k but it is a VERY good quality video. It has smart motion tracking and it comes with a mount and screws if you want to screw it to the wall, etc.

Fantastic security camera! Easy to set up and use!
I’m loving the Tapo security camera! First of all, it’s super easy to use—I was able to set it up in minutes. It even comes with hardware to mount it to a wall, though I didn’t use it because I like moving the camera to different places. The app was simple to install on my phone, and the picture quality is outstanding. I chose to receive notifications whenever there was movement, and the camera can even distinguish the type of motion it sees. One of its best features is the ability to pan and tilt, which lets you view an entire room and adjust the angle as needed. I’ve used the camera both indoors and outdoors, and it performs incredibly well in both settings. I’m genuinely impressed with this device and would recommend it to anyone looking for something user-friendly and reliable!

Nice
This is a nice little security camera. It is discreet in it's size. It has real time notifications so if it detects movement it will tell you through your phone. Then you can watch what is going on as it's happening.

Excellent picture and sound
This is a great addition for home security or just for keeping tabs on pets. We like to check in on our dog while we are not home. It has a clear picture and the voices are clear when using the talk feature. It tilts side to side and up and down for more viewage area. I just wish it did not have to be plugged in.

Awesome little camera with big personality!
The TP-Link Tapo TCB72 - 360º Pan/Tilt Home Security Wi-Fi Camera has been an awesome addition tonour home! We were using an expensive baby monitor that is no where near as great as this camera! The images are so sharp and i love that it alerts me when there are loud noises in the room it's in. The viewing range is also outstanding!

Great camera!
This was incredibly easy to setup and use. I normally have it facing my couch so I can keep my dogs off of it, but on Halloween I placed it on my porch to see trick or treaters. It worked great for that! The app is easy to access and the picture is incredibly clear!

This cute little, pan tilt, Wi-Fi camera was so easy to use and set up. It has night vision, also detected the baby crying in the kids bedroom, and was so crystal clear with smart motion tracking.

Love this little guy. Exactly what we needed to keep an eye on the toddler's bedroom and/or the porch, as needed. I like that it's portable, maneuverable, and pretty easy to set up and use. It's really a great value.

I have used many indoor cameras. This is the most clear of a picture we have seen. You can talk through the monitor. Move it whenever you want. This will be very useful for nighttime. Helps clear all the worries

Great product!
This is a great home security monitor! The device is convenient to install at any place in my living or bed rooms. The set up process was straightforward following the easy to follow instructions. The device provides high quality and high definition recordings when I am not a home - perfect for watching after my children and pets.i enjoy the miniature and sleek design from the recorder as well. Very easy to search for a recording on a particular date. I recommend this product to others based on quality and performance.

Easy TAPO Pan/Tilt Home Security Camera
I have very clear pictures with the Tapo Pan/Tilt security camera. It will follow within 2 targets that I set. Or stay focused on 1 object. I received this free from Hey Bullseye sampling program for my honest review. There's room for 512 gb storage use the Clould. Two way audio is awesome. I love that there is many settings.

Great camera
The tapo camera was so easy to set up. You just need the app and an outlet. It was ready to go in a few minutes. The box includes a wall mount and screws. The app is easy to use and lets you zoom in and out for better views. The camera itself is a bit bigger than I thought, but not big enough to be unsightly. This is perfect for kids rooms or keeping an eye on pets during the day like us. Would recommend this camera.

Great little camera
This is a great camera, very easy to use. I don't need the 360 option but it's nice to have. I like that you have options for storing video instead of just having to subscribe for storage. This offers both local storage with an SD Card or you can subscribe. Right now I opted for the local storage with an inexpensive SD Card. Video is clear and it was easy to set up.

Nice Camera for the Cost
Overall this is a nice camera and especially for the cost of it. It was easy to set up and access through my phone and the mobile app. My only really issue is that it is more designed to be mounted and not just just moved around. I also wish it had a battery and didn't rely on a power cord that limits its location.

Kool features in the app but the quality of the device was poor
I enjoy the software in the app and features but the actual quality of the device was poor. I had set camera to pan from left to right. I didnt screw in the device since the wall i left on my desk and the next morning i found it on the floor broken

These cameras are designed to be mounted or sit on a flat surface. The only way it could have fallen off a surface is if there was an external force applied to it. This could be anything from an animal pushing off the surface to the power cord being snagged and pulled it down. While physical damage is not covered by the warranty, I would still suggest reaching out to support to see if anything can be done. Best Regards TP-Link Systems Support
