Plant based deli meat ?
I’m still on the search for a substitute for my plant based deli meat after my favorite brand is no longer producing them. I tried to give this a chance but I can’t seem to get over the rubbery and tasteless texture. I’m shocked to see the rave reviews. It seems to go bad quickly too.

Plant-based Deli slices
My nearby Target only carries the Hickory Smoked flavor. So if I want another flavor, I have to drive about 15/20 minutes and honestly it’s not always worth the trip. I use these deli slices a lot because they’re plant-based, not real meat. When I first tried them, I thought they tasted a little like cardboard, but over time I’ve grown to really enjoy the flavor. They’re affordable and last me a few days if I portion them out, which is perfect for my work lunches.

Nasty
Buy big mountain tofu. It's made with fava beans. Then get poultry seasoning and vegetable broth, slice it and marinate it. This stuff has natural flavors which is usually from petroleum, a carcinogen. This stuff made me puke

😍Tofurky Hickory Smoked Deli Slices slapped me in the face 😏 ✨️ consensually✨️and now I’m in love🥵 I’ve been vegan for 8 years, and I have *NEVER* been more spiritually rocked by a sandwich meat substitute. These slices? They don’t just taste good. They show up, validate my feelings, pay my emotional rent, and then lovingly karate chop my taste buds with hickory-flavored passion. Like… who gave them the right?? I took one bite and immediately googled “how to legally marry a deli slice.” 👅 The flavor is so smoky, I checked my house for fire. 👅 Each slice tastes like a lumberjack gave you a warm hug and then disappeared into the mist. 👅 I eat these and suddenly I own flannel and have a deep sense of purpose.
