My daughter has been using these for her dance classes and they have been holding up quite well. the only down side i would say is that it started piling after just two washes, but she has used them a lot now and still haven’t gotten any rips on them. She is usually a size 4T so i ordered a size 4T -5T and it definitely has some extra room but you can just fold down the top a little for a great fit
