Q: Do they have a padding in the middle

A: Hi PT, Our Training Pants are designed to have a little extra padding in the event of a small accident, and is not designed to be fully absorbent. We include this padding in our training pants for children who are still transitioning between diapers and being potty trained, so that in the event of a small accident the child knows how it feels when they have an accident and so it signals to them that it is time to go to the potty. A: Hi Kris, Our Training Pant is used as a tool for potty training in the sense that it has some extra padding/absorption fabric than a regular underwear has. It is not a completely absorbent item like a diaper, but is more of an in between of a diaper and regular underwear. They can be used for potty training because if your child has a "small accident," they will be protected from leakage, but more importantly they will feel more how it feels to have such an accident. They will know when they have that feeling of the accident in the Training Pant that it is something to be done in the potty. Thank you

Too big, not leak proof
They’re ok, not the best for accidents as it leaks right through. But maybe a small accident while running to the potty might be slowed down. Also, the sizing is way off. I bought the 3T for my 4 year old and it sits up to her chest.

100%cotton & lovely design
I got these for my little girl (2 years). It's 100% cotton that it's very important for me cause my daughter has sensitive skin. She loves the design which encourages her to not pee on Minnie :). So, after couple days wearing them, she is asking to go toilet.

Not waterproof 100%
It is not completely waterproof. Used once and pee soaked through to her clothes. Inner is 100% cotton though.

Cute, but not for potty training
They seem like they have extra material to catch a small accident, but they leak straight through. I'd only reccomend these AFTER your kid is done potty training and you want a slight amount of back up -- but they might not even help with that.
